Battle of O'khasis ( Season 2 of MCD; Episode 99)

     " Are you sure this is the location you desired?"

     The Wyvern spoke after Garroth and Alex automatically got off as soon as Raven landed on the ground.

     " Yes, this will do nicely, thank you, Raven."

     " Take care, both of you."

     " I hope this plan works..."

     " You've had worse plans." A voice suddenly came from the shadows of a nearby tree, causing both Garroth and Alex to jump before recognizing who it was.

     " You really seem to be a master at appearing out of nowhere... and I'm at least assuming you don't travel through alternate dimensions."

     " Vylad, where did you come from?"

     " The bushes... I thought you might come here."

     " Of course I'd be here, where else would I go? Ivy's going to kill our mother, I'm not just going to stand around and do nothing. I've got to do something."

     " And this something involves a stupid plan that I'm assuming wasn't Alex's idea."

     " Not that I'm aware of."

     " Especially if it seems stupid, she won't be expecting that."

     " If you say so, but I don't think barging into the cities going to be the best idea."

     " Which is why we aren't going to barge right in, Ivy most likely has guards placed all around the outer wall to watch for just that kind of thing."

     " Well then, what do you propose we do?"

     "... We?"

     " Your plan may be foolish and undeveloped, but you're still my brother, and she's our mother. I would die before I let anything happen to her."

     " You mean again, right?"

     " Yes, I mean again."

     " Regardless Vylad, thank you. It means a lot to me that you are here, both of you."

     " You should thank Aphmau."

     " He is right..."

     Garroth sighed and looked at the ground as Vylad continued.

     " I can't say that I understand how you feel, but you should know that she insisted I help you, and the same with Alex, she does care about you."

     " Look, I-... can we talk about this later? We need to focus on getting mom out."

     " By 'we' I'm just going to assume you mean the three of us. Okay, what's the next step of operation 'don't knock down the front door'."

     " We're going to find the only people I know that can get us into O'khasis undetected."

     " I don't think we've got any other choice, these people know the best way to get inside, and they aren't all bad."

     " Well, the boss doesn't particularly have any respect towards us-"

     " Hold on." Vylad turned towards the wilderness." Who's there? I know you're out there!"

     Amber popped out of a bush." Aww man, how did you know?"

     " It takes a lot more than skill to sneak up on me... but I will say, I didn't notice you immediately."
