Merediths runs turned to speed walks to regular walking until she stopped altogether. What would she tell him? She couldn't no no she couldn't. She was happy he was happy this would hurt them again. It's decided she won't tell him.
Instead Meredith made her way to her friends new found clinic.
"Hey Izzie, George how are you guys doing?"
"Hey Mer" George smiled
"Meredith what's up!" Izzie chirped
"Good good what are you two doing?"
"Well it's my clinic I'm always here and I think Bailey assigned him here" izzie shrugged
"Hey I like working here" George countered
"Weren't you and that trauma ginger hitting it off?" Meredith laughed
"Yes we were but he's terrifying. It's calm here"
"He's been through a lot of wars George what do you expect" izzie rolled her eyes
"Doesnt change the fact he's scary as hell" he cringed
"Yeah ok baileys paging me I'll see you two later" Meredith waved before exiting the clinic.
She walked in the direction of the er and ran into mark and Alex who were actually really alike.
"Hey mer"
"Mark what's up "
"Oh nothing this ass face over here thinks he has a chance with you" he said punching Alex in the shoulder
"Oh don't act like if Meredith was available you wouldn't be the first person to hit on her" Alex scoffed
"Oh uh well you two are both hot people so you shouldn't have a problem finding someone who isn't me" she blushed. She was used to being called attractive and insanely pretty but not two people she considered her brothers seeing her in this light. It was kind of cute and flattering definitely but weird. Not bad weird just weird.
"Oh did Meredith just call me hot?" Mark jokingly asked Alex
"She sure did do she probably wants a three way" he shrugged
"Why wouldn't she have you seen us?" Mark asked flexing
"I'm going to pass the both of you" she laughed
Mark and Alex watched as she walked passed them and laughed.
"No but honestly Shepherd is lucky" Alex said as they kept walking
"Very, very" Mark said
Meredith made her way to the er and saw Bailey writing charts
"You paged dr.Bailey?"
"Yes there's a guy over there who needs stitches so go stitch him up"
"Sure thing"
"Less prep Meredith "
"That wasn't even- you know what never mind right away"
"That's more like it"
Meredith rolled her eyes inwardly and made her way to the patient
"Hi my name is Meredith Grey how are you- Nate?"
"Grey hey" he smiled
"I just saw you outside what happened?" She said closing the surrounding curtains
"Oh nothing after we talked I hopped on my bike to go get food and well I hit a curb no biggie " he shrugged
"And what if you died?" She asked crossing her arms
