This was terrible. Meredith was supposed to be making Derek wait but she missed sex. She missed sex with Derek. But he was supposed to be on timeout or something but she wanted him. Her body craved him but she was supposed to be keeping her cool. So now what would she do?
Since he left Meredith had adapted a waking up early attitude one even earlier then Dereks.
She got up while he was still sleeping and took a quick shower. After her shower she went downstairs but there wasn't any food. Her "roommates" well friends really, they eat like pigs and like pigs they don't restock fridges. She groaned at the depressing view of her fridge and sat on the couch. She had went through every movie in the conjuring series so she didn't know what to watch now.
Well she did have attack on Titan to finish but she didn't feel like it so she decided to watch a very very demented cartoon she'd watch as a child. Happy tree friends. The cartoon where the cute animal things died in horrendous ways.
She turned on YouTube and typed it in. She started from season 1 and relaxed.
Derek awoke to an empty bed and for a second he thought he was in New York.....alone no Meredith no job just nothing. But then he looked around and saw he was in their house and she was probably downstairs.
So he took a quick shower and headed down to see Meredith curled up on the couch.
"Mer" he smiled
"Hey" she smiled back
"Did you eat anything babe?" He said checking the fridge and frowning at the emptiness he saw
"Well I'm sure you've seen the fridge by now" she said tightening her grip on her knees
"Mer.. are you hungry? Cause we can go out to eat"
He said walking over to her.
"Mer- Meredith what are you watching?" He said looking at the animal character getting run over by a roller coaster
"Happy tree friends"
"What's happy about that?" He chuckled
He walked behind her and kissed the top of her head.
"Oh I don't know I didn't name this cartoon thingy mondo media did"
"Are you hungry?"
"Oh yeah um I am actually " she said as her stomach growled
"Do you want something from Ihop? Cause I can go pick something up and come back"
"That'd be great Derek thank you" she said turning around and smiling at him
"Chicken and waffles and a strawberry lemonade?"
"Yeah"
"I'll be back" he said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
Derek left to go get their food and Meredith sat back on the couch and continue watching the twisted cartoon.
After about twenty minutes of sitting on the couch watching cartoons Meredith decided to go stand in the couch out of sheer boredom. But she had some thoughts. What if on the way there he got into some car accident? Or what if on the way back he did and they reason she didn't know was because they weren't married so they wouldn't know who to contact what if-
"Meredith I'm back" Derek said interrupting her thoughts
"Derek"she breathed she ran to him and gave him a hug
"Hey" he smiled
"I was worried" she said grabbing the bags from his hand and setting them on the counter
"Why would you be worried? I just went to IHOP Meredith " he chuckled
"You could've died. We're not married and you could have gotten into a car crash and I wouldn't have known"
"Meredith " he said walking up behind her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her head.
"They would have known. I have my health information on me and your my proxy "
"Oh I forgot about that" she giggled
"Hmm"He said releasing her and opening the bags.
He handed her, her food and drink and grabbed his own food and drink.
"Here or the couch?" He asked
"Couch" she responded
They walked to the couch together holding their food and drink.
They ate in comfortable silence while watching the strange cartoon.
Once finished derek took their trash back to the kitchen and trashed it.
He walked back to the couch and put his arm around Meredith. She leaned into him and put her feet on the couch.
"How's your day been?" He asked
"It's been great"
"Any pain?"
"My arms is a little sore but nothing major" she shrugged
"You want a massage?" He said sitting up some
"No I just want to lay here"
"Ok that's fine" he smiled
He held her as they watched the cartoon and she eventually fell asleep.
Derek knew the couch wasn't that comfortable for two people so he picked her up and carried her upstairs. Once upstairs, he placed her in the bed and tucked her in.
He closed the door and went back upstairs to clean up any loose ends. They were pretty tidy people which meant there was nothing for him to do. So he went back upstairs and took off his shirt and changed his pants to sweats.
He got into bed and picked up the book Meredith was reading earlier. He kept her bookmark but started from the beginning.
She turned over and cuddled into his torso and he used his left arm to run his fingers through her hair. She had nice hair soft.
Great for hair pulling the oh so dirty thought crossed his mind. But he dismissed it. Waiting they were well he was on timeout as he should rightfully be. After all the crap he's pulled he doesn't deserve her in the most intimate way possible. Not until she feels as though he does.
Meredith continued sleeping and he continued reading until about 4 pm. He had finished her book earlier and looked through the other books they had.
"Derek?" She asked sleepily
"Hm?"
"What are you doing?" She asked sitting up
"You were sleeping and I was reading " he shrugged
"Your not wearing a shirt"
"And your wearing a crop top "
"Derek"
"What's the problem?" He asked putting the book down.
"Shirt ... you need to put on a shirt" she said examining his chest. The whole time he was gone it seemed as though he worked out. His abs were more defined and his body was built beautifully. He was making this hard... he was making this very hard.
"Ok" he said eyeing her curiously
But then it hit him. He was shirtless and he looked good.
He chuckled to himself and got up and put on a shirt.
He got back into bed and turned on the tv.
"Meredith"
"Yeah?"
"You know you look good like all the time right?"
"I'm aware" she giggled
"That's good "
She leaned into him and they watched tv together.
