Chapter 11

It was 3 am and the two had to get ready to leave at 5:30. They held each other all night. Not once did either of them turn over. It had been too long without each other. They both knew they had to work hard to stop anything like this from ever happening again.

"Derek"
"Hmm"
"We gotta go it's like 3:15"
"But it's warm"
"We're gonna miss our flights though"
"We can reschedule" he said sleepily
"Derek shepherd!"
"Uhhh fine" he got up and kissed her forehead before heading over to the bathroom to brush his teeth and shower. While he was showering Meredith came in to brush her teeth.

"I know we agreed no sex but you can shower with me it doesn't have to lead to sex."

"Derek it's been what two weeks? Two weeks without sex if I get in the shower with you there will be sex"

"Even if I said no?"

"We both know you wouldn't say no"

He laughed at that because she was right they couldn't be naked in the shower together. They simply couldn't. Because as mad as he was at her he missed her so much some days he thought he wouldn't be able to survive.

"I'll wait on the bed until your done" she exited the bathroom and sat on the bed thinking about how lucky she was that he had forgiven her she couldn't do anything like this again... she wouldn't he had infected her with his Derek shepherdness and now she couldn't live without him. Derek came out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist and her libido was on fire.

"Mer?"
No response
"Mer??"
No response
"Meredith!"
"What huh?"
"Your staring" he chuckled
"I am not"
"You so we're"
"I was not"
He made his way towards her and now he was standing directly in front of her and she looked away. He cupped her face with his hands so now she was looking at him and leaned down and kissed her. It was soft and sweet. He pulled away and went back to change into his clothes.

"You know mer your really cute when you admire me"
"What- I was not! derek I hate you I'm going to go shower"
"Love you too!" He called back laughing
He missed this he missed them just being them. Meredith took a quick shower and came out with a towel. It was his turn to stare.
"Derek?"
No response
"Derekkkkk"
"Hmm"
"Your staring"
"I am"
"Why?" She knew why she just wanted to hear what he had to say
"Well " he said as he stood up. He walked over to her and put one hand on her waist and used the other to cup her face.
"Derek" she whimpered
"You know" he whispered into her ear with his husky voice
"You really are the prettiest woman I've ever met" he finished before biting her earlobe gently. She grabbed his shoulder for support and he tilted her chin up to kiss her again.

He left her there shaking proud of the enormous effect he had on her. He left the room to let her get changed and they packed their remaining suitcases.

"Ok come on" he said
"Coming!" They walked out hand in hand and called a cab. They waited for about 25 minutes until the cab got there. They got in the car and Derek told the driver the address of the airport they were headed to.Meredith fell asleep on his shoulder majority of the ride. Once they arrived Derek paid the cab driver and they walked to there boarding group. The plane ride was about 5 hours and 40 minutes. They got in there seat on the plane and held hands.

"You know it's been awhile since I was on a plane" she said
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah"
"When was the last time you were on a plane?"
"When I was like five my mom had a surgery in Switzerland so we went there for about a week"
"Hmm I don't even remember the last time I was on a plane to be honest "
"Derek"
"Yeah? Wait before you say anything...the way you say my name is really hot. Makes me feel all warm and tingly "
"Derek.. your so Derek "
"Thank you" he laughed
"For the record whenever you say my name I feel the same way too"
"Good"
"Good but I wanted to say, do you want kids?"
"Do you?"
" I don't know but with you I'm open to the possibility "
"I do 2 or 3 kids but I don't want you to feel like your forced to want to have kids because I do"
"I don't I just genuinely wanted to know what you thought"
"Ok that's good that your thinking about it"
"It is"
They had four more hours to go which they spent sleeping. Sheesh these two could sleep. They finally arrived at hawaii and they rented there car to go to there designated hotel.
"Hi welcome can I have your name please?"
"Shepherd"
"Great you have the honeymoon suite 4th floor room 345 enjoy!"
"Thanks"
"Honeymoon huh?"
"Only the best for u mer"
They walked to the elevator with their suitcases and arrived at the floor and walked to there room.
"Wow Derek this room is huge"
"It is" he smiled
"You know what I really want to do?" She walked over to him seductively
"Well what would that be?" He asked while his hands roamed her waist
"Sleep!"
"Oh God mer your such a tease"
He took off his shirt and pants and mer took of her pants and changed her shirt to her ratty Dartmouth shirt.They got into bed together and Derek grabbed his book and Meredith cuddled into his chest watching tv before she finally drifted off into sleep. Derek stayed awake and ordered them room service knowing she'd probably get hungry later. She started to stir a little and eventually woke up.
"We're you watching me sleep?"
"Your a cute sleeper and your snoring happens to be the cutest thing ever" he gushed
"I do not snore!"
"Yes you do it's cute really"
" I hate you"
He grabbed her wrist and pinned her down while hovering above her.
"No you don't "
" I-I do"
"Then why did you stutter?"
"I did not"
"You did"
"I did.. didn't I didn't damn it Derek get off me"
He dipped his head to suck on her neck in that one spot that drives her crazy.
"Der-Derek"
"Hmm?"
"No sex"
"Ugh I know"
He got off of her and brought her in for a hug.
" I ordered room service "
"Oooo what did you get me?"
"Cheeseburger fries and a cookies and creme milkshake "
"It's so simple but it's my favorite "
"I know" he said as he kissed her
She was about to kiss him back but the door rang
And she got up to answer it.
"Hello my name is Michael I'm your room servant for your stay I'm here with your food Ms?"
"Grey Meredith grey hi"
Michael was a tall attractive man but no one could top Derek.
"Thank you for the food Michael "
"Of course have a great rest of your day beautiful "
She smiled at his compliment and took the table of food .
Derek heard the whole conversation and he didn't like it. Meredith brought the food to the bed and noticed dereks attitude change.

"Beautiful? Really?"
"I didn't say anything "
"Mer he was flirting with you" he pouted
She straddled him and cupped his face with her hands
"Derek I'm in love with you I wasn't even looking at him I was looking at the covered food I promise " she kissed him and he kissed her back.
"I'm in love with you too"
She got off of his lap and they laid there eating their food while cuddling and watching tv.
