Chapter song~ Lost it all by Black Veil Brides (sorry for the subtitles XD)
Ash POV
As I trail Jade, I realize I have no idea what I'm doing, and if Jade herself can't help me I'm going to need some sort of professional help. I sort through people in my mind and one in particular stands out. I slow down to mild jog and grab my phone out of my pocket. Dialing, I hold it to my ear while scanning the area for any sign of Jade.
"Hello?"
"Hey, dad, is Trina there I need to speak with her, its urgent."
"She's out in the garden right now, I'll take the phone to her... Is everything alright, are you hurt? You normally don't call for the pack healer or you step mother, where are you?"
I roll my eyes, my father is so dramatic sometimes. Trina is the pack healer, and also my step mom. My real mom died two years ago by a hunter with a silver bullet, Trina couldn't save her.
"I'm fine dad, I just need to ask her a few questions for uh, a friend."
"Ashton you didn't get some girl pregnant did you?"
"Jesus dad no! Its just a small mishap and I need some advice!"
He grunts,
"Okay well here she is...."
I sigh and roll my eyes, my father is ridiculous.
"Hello? Ash, your father said you had some questions how can I help?"
"OK, well, let's say I have this friend, with uh... An alternate personality. Say that other personality takes over, how could I get the normal one back?"
"Ashton, stop with the riddles and tell me what's going on so I can actually help you, I'm not a mind reader."
"I don't think that's -"
"Ashton Gregory Smith tell me what's going on right now or I will involve your father."
I hear the smile in her threat, and I know she isn't serious, but I still dont know if I should tell her the whole truth. I hate when she uses my full name.
"Okay calm down Trina, I'll tell you, but you have to agree on three things. One, you can't tell anyone, not my dad, no one. Ever. Two, you have to meet me at the house in an hour, no questions no matter how crazy what I tell you sounds. And three, don't give up on me, please, I've done the best I can, but I need your help."
"Ash, honey you don't have to worry about anything, I'm here for you and whatever you need, anytime. Now tell me what's going on so I can pack what I need."
I can hear the concern in her voice, and I know she won't tell, so I let everything come rushing out. Everything from meeting her for the first time, to the hunters attack, to the club party, all the way to today. Every detail I could remember, even the more embarrassing parts which she laughs quietly at, to the note she gave me before running away.
"So, that's why I need your help, I have no idea what I'm doing here, but I refuse to give up on her... Do you think you can help her?"
She sighs on the other line, I can picture her running her hand through her ever color changing hair. She isn't boring that's for sure. She always says life's too short to have the same hair color.
"Honestly Ash, it sounds like your in a real mess, but I'll do my very best to help your little girlfriend, she sounds like a real sweet girl when she's not ripping out peoples throats."
"Not funny Trina, and she isn't my girlfriend...."
"Okay okay sorry no need to get all defensive on me, I can't guarantee anything but I'll do my very best for her Ash, I really will."
