Second period goes smoothly, without a hitch. If you don't count being introduced by the teacher, again.
When the bell rings, I walk out the door looking down at my schedule.
I say "Hey!" in surprise when its plucked out of my hand. I look up to see Ash's bright green eyes.
"Hey yourself, whats next?"
I laugh, "Not sure, you have the schedule."
"Geometry 3 Advanced. Smart and sexy, I like it. Were In the same class, follow me, I'll show you." He says with a grin.
I laugh, "Ok?" and follow him.
We get there and he snags two seats for us, I sit down pulling out my geometry book.
Ash sets down his bag and goes up to the teacher, they start talking. I could listen in if I wanted to, but that would be eavesdropping so I don't.
He returns and I ask, "What was that about?"
"Oh, I just told her not to introduce you to the whole class."
"Really? Wow, thanks, very kind of you."
"Welcome, and I know, i'm amazing" He teases and we laugh.
The class starts and we do so much work that we don't really get to talk.
The bell rings and I stuff the giant textbook back into my bag. Ash says,
"Ok, now the best class of the day, lunch."
"Cool, and the cafeteria is......"
He laughs, "C'mon, i'll show you."
We walk to the lunch room together and get in the line, I pay for my food and go to pick up the tray, but Ash takes it and starts walking. I raise an eyebrow and follow, sitting next to him where he put my tray.
"What? I cant be friendly?" He asks, feigning innocence
I laugh, "Thanks."
"No problem."
A few minutes later, all his friends come over, sitting down and slamming their trays, talking and laughing loudly.
Ash tells them all to shut the fuck up, and introduces me.
"Guys, this is Jade, the vampire transfer from France. Jade, these are my friends Matt, Dean, Alex, Josh, Jake, Troy, and Trevor. Guys, be nice to Jade, she's new to America."
They all say hi, hey, or whats up, and I swear I even heard a sup sexy because Ash glares at one of them. They all stare, waiting for me to say something.
I lick my lips and respond, surprising them.
"Thanks for the introduction Ash, but I think I can handle it, I am not a charity case just because i'm new, but your sweet for trying. Hello boys, nice to meet you."
They go through a series of "Ohhhh's" and "Damnnnnn girl's" and they all laugh including Ash.
He smiles and says, "Alright alright, so your not a charity case, but you'll accept our help right? You gotta help me keep these idiots outta trouble and in line, its the least I can do."
I laugh, "Of course, how hard will that be exactly?"
They all laugh again and he replies, "Most likely very difficult.They can be.... lets just say they attract trouble like magnets."
"Oh god, i'm in for it aren't I?"
I laugh and they all simultaneously say "Yup!"
