After going around to the different electives, trying to decide, the bell rings for fifth period.

I look down at my schedule and groan inwardly. World history. Fuck. I hate that class more than science, and I hate that class with a passion.

I go to my locker and dump like four textbooks just to grab another three, i slam my locker shut, and turn to find a very wide chest in my way.

I look up and see familiar green eyes.

"Hey"

"Hey, whats your next class?"

"Fucking world history. Of course."

He laughs.

"I'm next door to your class, I'll walk you there."

"Ok thanks." We start walking.

"I have a question."

"Ask away. "

"How much trouble will I get In for knocking a blond bitch on her ass?"

We both laugh and he says,

"That depends on a few things. One being how far she stretches the story. Two is how much makeup she applies for the fake bruise. And if your lucky, three would be tears and her big shot lawyer daddy."

"Oh shit, i'm screwed."

"Completely my friend."

We get to my class and I smile, saying "See you later Ash."

"Bye Jade."

I know I should have payed attention in history, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, instead I drew pictures in my notebook, until I heard the bit about vampires. I look up to see the teacher talking about why they never had vampires at the school.

Apparently, like some hundreds of years ago, vampires were allowed here, but they went on a killing spree and drained almost the whole city, causing the no vampire rule. And now I realize that not all the teachers were ok with me being here, obviously my new history teacher isn't, because he looked at me the whole time he talked. I got so mad, when the bell rang, I almost ran out the door. I was fuming.

After stopping by my locker once again, i'm one of the first few people to arrive in the class. I sit next to one of the big glass windows, and try to calm myself down. As people file in, I find myself watching the door. I shake my head,  telling myself, pull yourself together girl, remember the rules.

Instead, I look out the window, watching trees sway in the wind.

"Well hello again."

I jump a little, startled, I put a hand on my chest. Turning to Ash, I say

"Jesus, you scared the shit outta me."

He laughs, "Not Jesus, but close, except much better looking, no offence."

We laugh and he slides into the seat beside me. The class starts and its so boring I could die. Again. I'm ready to bolt out the door when the bell finally rings after what feels like a life time.

"Next class?"

"Gym."

"Awesome, same here, I'll show you."

"Ok great, thanks."

"No problem."

I follow him as we walk across the school into the gym.
