Chapter song~ The middle by Jimmy eat world
Ronda helps me with my bags and she takes me to my new door room.
She says I should have it all to myself, which i'm glad for.
I unlock the door and swing it open to reveal a decent sized room and a bed, a couch, a t.v., kitchen, closet, bathroom, and a big window.
"What a great room.... I'll leave you to unpack and settle, come see me up in the front office when your ready and we'll go see about getting your class schedule."
"Ok, bye."
She smiles and I wave. Ronda seems like a generally nice person so far, for an American.
I unpack all my clothes, hanging most in the closet. What I run out of room for goes into the dresser under the t.v. It's pretty nice for an apartment, but I miss home already. My car is being shipped over via boat... That could take awhile.
I sigh and put some sheets and blankets on the bed, then stuffing a few pillows into the pillow cases. once i'm done, I lay on the bed and look around.
When I first came into the room, everything was all white and newish. Awful and plain, no color whatsoever.
But now, its how I like it. My bed is blue, the curtains I hung are black lace. The towels in the bathroom are red and black, shower curtain is blue as well. Most things are either black, blue, red and maybe some green and white.
I cant stand those girly foo foo colors like pink and purple. They make me gag, I hate them.
I stocked up my kitchen with the usual stuff, along with my main "food source."
I shove the giant empty suitcases under the bed and go to work setting up my stereo system on my desk.
It's way overly complicated, but I eventually figure it out. I cut open my box of CDs and pull out one of my favorites, putting it in.
Moments later my favorite band, Evanescence, starts playing and soon i'm singing along, feeling at home.
Eventually I realize that Ronda was probably waiting for me. I get up and change out of my travel clothes into some jeans, a black lace top and I zip on my favorite black combat boots.
I pull my mass of black curls down from their bun and let them hang down, reaching down close to my lower back. And brush my teeth for good measure. I have to make a good impression meeting my teachers for the first time.
I turn off my stereo, just to put in my headphones. I step outside my door and lock it behind me, putting the keys in my pocket.
