After about twenty more minutes of swimming, I pull myself out and onto the rocks to dry off in the afternoon sun. Eventually Ash does the same.
I ask, "So, Ash, how long have you been here?"
"My entire life."
"Oh, that's cool."
"I guess."
"What was it like growing up here?"
"It was alright. I know pretty much know everything about most of the people here, except for you."
"Ask away all knowing one." I tease.
"Favorite color?"
"Blue and or black."
"Favorite song or group/ artist?"
"Evanescence and their song Lost in paradise, or Sweet sacrifice. Or Black Veil Brides."
"Umm, hobbies?"
"I like swimming, drawing, I play the piano and I can sing, dance, and horse back riding."
"Boyfriend?"
"No."
"Interesting... Things you hate?"
" Not much besides science and history classes."
He laughs, "Same, they suck ass. Ok last one, natural born vamp or bitten?"
"Bitten. Satisfied? Now my turn, all same questions."
"Ok, well my favorite color is green, my favorite group is Panic! At the disco and Pierce the veil, hobbies are swimming, skateboarding, and some sports, uh no girlfriend, I just hate school in general, and I'm a natural born wolf. Satisfied?"
He responds, mocking my sarcastic tone towards the end. we both laugh.
I stand up, saying, "Well, I have to go finish setting up my new room. Maybe I'll see you in class."
"Ya sure, nice to meet you Jade."
"Nice to meet you too."
I put on my shoes and go back to my room.
