Chapter twenty seven

We all sit around talking until we dry off and it starts getting dark.

Ash stands to address the whole group saying,

"Okay, listen up people.... So I know you've all heard about the party, and I wanted to give you some details about it. Some people know where it is, including the pack, but you three,"

He gestures at me and the girls,

"Will not be told, you will be given the time and attire and you will be picked up promptly on time, so be ready...."

He's interupted by me and the girls groans of complaint. He smiles slightly and keeps going.

"Dress attire should be.... I dont know, party dress, cute, sexy and fun but not slutty, would you guys agree?

All the guys woop and cheer and there's a loud several yeah's, I roll my eye.

"Anyways, its tomorrow, Friday, and you girls need to be ready by sun down, one of us will pick you up as soon as it sets, be ready. It will be fun, loud, and lots of people will be there so don't do anything stupid that you'll regret, everyone got it?"

I look at the girls and we simultaneously nod in understanding, the guys do the same all looking mischievous... I dont like it. I say,

"You all look up to something, I dont like it... it's making me nervous..."

The girls nod, and the guys laugh at us. Ash says,

"No need to be nervous... You gave me the idea, kind of... It'll be fun, you'll love it, you all will."

I give him a look, slightly slitting my eyes,

"So if we'll love it so much, why wont you tell us?"

He gets a smug look on his face,

"Because, it'll ruin the surprise... Oh, and I forgot, when one of us picks you up tomorrow night, you will be blindfolded to prevent any early sight of the surprise, now, I think its time for all of us to go home."

He smiles brightly at everyone, picks up him towel and starts walking, the pack following him leaving me, Angel, and Liz alone. I hiss in annoyance wanting to know where it is. I mutter,

"I'll wipe that smug look of his face if he doesn't tell me, I hate, and I emphasize HATE, surprises... The last one went so very wrong."

Angel laughs and Liz nods saying,

"I'll help you."

We laugh and get up, grab our towels and start walking back home.

The girls come over and we discuss where this party could be and what we should wear. Liz says,

"Oh my god, I have this black corset lace up top and a jean skirt, I could wear my fishnet leggings under with my boots, that would be perfect!"

Angel looks confused and I laugh,

"That would be perfect..."

Then I get an idea, I get up and rush over to my closet throwing it open.

"I got it! I have this little high low black dress that has creme lace, and I have some flowered lace fishnets, if you dont mind me stealing a little of your idea Liz, and my black leather boots that lace up, they're about mid calf high...."

I pull the dress out of my closet and Liz's and Angel's faces light up immediately. Angel says,

"Oh, my god, that dress is drop dead gorgeous Jade, its perfect for you... You both have like that cutest outfits, I dont have anything worthy of a party like this, its all pastel and flowers, definently not...."
