Cas spent every night in my bed. We would spoon into each other enjoying the warmth and comfort.
Sam didn't know. I didn't want him to, yet.
After our almost kiss, Cas and I hadn't attempted to try again. I was fine with it. Just being near him was great.
"Hey, Cas." I whispered late one night.
"Yes?"
"Tomorrow, I thought you and I could go out shopping or something. Maybe get a bite to eat and a movie. Does that sound good?"
"It's sounds good."
"Kay, then it's a date." I pulled him closer to me wrapping my arms fully around him. I fell asleep, lulled by watermelon and cinnamon smell of Cas' hair.

During our date, I took Cas to a clothing shop and bought him more clothes than his suit and trench coat. He didn't get anything casual but at least he was wearing something new.
After shopping, we went to a restaurant to eat. I talked to Cas about growing up, and he told stories of the world. We lost track of time and almost missed the movie we were going to see.
I purchased the tickets and turned to see Cas staring off into space. He looked perfect. I walked up beside him, not noticing me until I grabbed his hand. We enjoyed the comedy with Cas tucked under my arm. We came home around eleven. Sam was still up watching tv. I told him I was going to sleep and had Cas sneak in after me.
"I had a great time." Cas said unbottoning his new shirt to replace it with a t-shirt.
"I did too." I pulled back the sheets allowing him to get in next to me. "Our first official date is a success, I believe."
"Definitely." He crawled in facing me. I lifted his chin to look at me. His eyes were spectacular. All of a sudden, he clutched his head, crumbling in on himself. It hadn't been a while since this had happened to him. It scared me every time. I clamped my hand over his mouth incase he made noise and held him close. I waited until he relaxed before I moved my hand.
"Are you okay?"
He nodded his head clutching my shirt and squeezing closer still.
"What was it this time?"
"You and me. It was a series of moments between you and I. All we were doing was looking at each other. They all felt right too. Just like now, when I looked in your eyes and all I felt was admiration and... Love. That's what the vision felt like."
Love rang through my mind. He said he felt love.
His head was tucked beneath mine, his face buried in my chest. I pulled his face up to me again. My heart was beating right out of my chest.
Slowly, our lips met. It was tender, and careful. I pulled back to find shock written all over his face.
"Are you alright?" I asked worried that he wasn't ready or I had offended him or something.
"That was... My first one. It was perfect."
I relaxed as relief flowed through me. I kissed him again. Harder this time. His lips were soft against mine. I cupped his face with one hand while the other slid up and down his side and around his back. I could feel him holding onto my shirt between us. Our feet were entwined. Cas pulled away for only a moment to catch his breath before returning. I lightly bit his bottom lip asking permission to enter with my tongue. He opened slightly and I took the chance to explore his mouth. It was minty and wonderful. It lasted forever.
When our little infinite ended, we fell asleep closer than we ever were before.
