I heard the knock and I also heard Dean answer the door. I slowly put my book down and got up from my bed. I walked out even slower.
"Sammy get out here!" I heard Dean yell.
I put on a smile and walked over to Dad.
"Hey Sam!" He said shaking my hand and pulling me in for a hug.
"Hey Dad. It's good see you."
We all went into the dining room and sat down.
"You hungry Dad? I can fix us all a sandwich." Dean said, ready to get up.
"No, no I'm fine."

We continued to talk for about two hours. Occasionally Dad or Dean would get up for another beer. Dad allowed me to have one as well. I told him how well I was doing in school and about Jess. Dean talked about his job. Dad told us stories he thought were cool, but they were lame. It was a about 2:45 when we decided to go get some food.

We arrived at Harvelle's Roadhouse in the Impala at 3:30. As soon as we entered we heard Ellen.
"John! It's great to see you! Come on over here and let me get you a nice cold beer." She said with a big smile.

We sat down and shortly after, Ellen's daughter, Jo, came and joined us. We all continued to talk. We were like a big family but we weren't all related and Dean kept flirting with Jo slightly.

We ate, and laughed, and talked. It was really fun. I wished Jess was there to share the moment. When we were finally able to leave it was pretty late. Dean and Dad were way past tipsy, so I was allowed to drive the Impala back to the house.
