"We are going to avoid hunting demons completely." Dean said as he lectured Castiel and I about hunting.
"We're also going to avoid vampires, djinn, wendigo, and anything that's not a ghost or a werewolf. They're easier to hunt."
"Dean, I can take a demon out very easily." Castiel said.
"I don't think it would be much of a hunt if you just killed a demon. Remind me why we care enough to go kill monsters for a teenage boy who made a stupid decision. Especially since the fricking Devil told us too."
"Because he's my friend." I said defensively.
"Fine. Sam you will have to skip a couple days of school. Cas, you're fine. I've got some time off too. The first thing we do is find a case. Then we research. Here's a couple newspapers from some towns nearby. Just find some crazy deaths." Dean had been going on for hours. That's what it felt like. I understood everything he said, but he kept saying it, and saying it, and saying it. I quickly grabbed two newspapers and went to my room. I could hear Dean and Castiel talking in the living room, but I couldn't make much of it. I noticed there were comics with each of the papers and looked at them for about ten minutes. Eventually I got down to business. I flipped over to the obituaries and looked at all of them. Most were natural causes. Some were car accidents. There were a few murders even. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I grabbed the other newspaper and looked at it's obituaries. Soon enough, I noticed a few deaths that all popped up in one night. They were all placed in the same town as well. One was a homeless man, one was a teenager, and another was a late night jogger. They were torn to shreds and eaten. I looked at the calendar and found that they were also on a full moon.
"Dean!" I called out, jumping off my bed. "I found something!" I entered the living room. Dean and Castiel were sitting right next to each other on our couch. Something was up with those two. I had been noticing it lately. They gave each other weird looks when the other wasn't looking, and they were always touching. I coughed to get there attention.
"Oh, hey Sammy." He said pulling away from Castiel. "Find anything?"
"Yeah, maybe a werewolf attack. Here look." I handed him the paper and pointed to the deaths. "They fall on a full moon too."
"Alright. That seals the deal. We are going on a hunt."
