"I love you too." I leaned down to kiss Dean, tears rolling off my face, but they fell into oblivion and I too, fell forward. I cried out fearing the bright light beneath me. Suddenly, someone grabbed my arm pulling me up, wrapping their hands around my waist. I turned in their arms to find Dean.
"What the hell happened?" He yelled.
"I don't know!" I cried looking around. The familiarity slammed into me.
"We're in Heaven." I whispered.
"What?"
"Heaven, Dean. We are in Heaven."
"So... We're dead?" He asks.
"No. This isn't a heaven for someone's soul. This is where the Angels are. Someone brought us up here... Alive. How is that possible?""With a lot of work and a lot of explanation. But don't worry about it, kids."
We turn to the new voice. Separating from each other.
"Gabriel. How not nice to see you." I say.
"What the hell is happening?" Dean yells once more.
"Woah there cowboy." Gabriel replies. "Cassie. Aren't you going to introduce us?"
"Dean, this is Gabriel. One of my many brothers." I look up at Dean. Anger is written all over his face. When he doesn't speak, I take the chance to ask what was happening one more time."Fine. We can skip the introduction. You guys are what's happening."
"What do you mean?" Dean asks.
"Let me show you." Gabriel starts walking towards us, and I grab Dean's hand. At the same time, Gabriel places his hands over our heads. As if a flood gate is released, memories pour into us. Dean going to Hell. Me saving him. God disappearing. Starting and stopping the Apocalypse. Battling in Heaven for control. Me letting the Leviathan escape. Going to Purgatory. Dean, being saved from Purgatory followed by me. The tablets. Naomi. Mind control. The Mark of Cain. Every little thing. All the small moments. All the feelings as well. It was like watching all those years together, sped up. Sam and Dean. Bobby. Ellen and Jo.
None of it was the future however. It had already happened.
We were yanked from our memories coming back to Gabriel.
"See. You guys are what's happening." He says.
"I don't understand. Why would all that happen, just to be sent back to meet each other sooner?"
"Because there is a part that was left out. Then, you mess up the world on such epic proportions. Saying that everything goes to Hell, is a major understatement. So, we send you back in time. We change Sam and Dean's way of life. However, you still end up rebelling Cassie. When you were banished, remember how far away you were from that cute little town you have now? Yeah. We didn't expect you to make your way to Dean's town." I was surprised at how serious Gabriel was being at a time like this.
"Why didn't you keep separating us then?" Dean asked.
"Because. We realized that you guys would always find a way to each other."
"So what now?" I squeak.
"Well, if you guys want to be together... We have to make sure you don't royally screw up."
"How?" Dean said squeezing my hand and pulling me closer.
"Castiel, it's a shame we're going to have to do this. You were one of our best."
"Gabriel! What are you doing to us?"
