Castiel was gone for about .2 seconds before he was back in the living room, practically falling into the couch. Dean rushed to his side.
"Cas! Cas, what happened?" Dean asked. He was propping Castiel up in his lap. Almost cradling him.
'Dean would never to that to me.' I snorted in my head. 'He'd probably slap me till I wake up.'
"I did it. I spoke to Lucifer." He finally whispered. "I'm exhausted though. I need to rest."
"No problem buddy. Just rest kay?" Dean said still continuing to cradle Castiel.
"Come on." I said nodding to Kevin. "Let's get out of here before they start making out." I said teasingly to the now glaring Dean. Kevin and I went to my room.
"Do you think he did it?" Kevin asked. He looked like he was about to cry.
"Oh come on. Don't get soft on me too. First Dean cradles a weird man, now your gunna cry?"
"No, I'm not going to cry." He said trying to hide a sniffle.
"Well, do you feel any different?" I asked him.
"No, not really. Should I? He said he spoke to uh, the Devil... Right?"
"Yeah, but there wasn't much explanation."
Kevin sat down on my bed and I cracked open my math book. I looked at the homework page for the weekend. I continued to hear sniffles and hiccups.
"Dude, what? Why are you crying?"
"What if I don't get into Princeton? What if this was the only way?"
"Then you would have to spend 15 years worrying about your death. What if you didn't make it to fifteen years? You're a smart guy. Kay? Chill."

About an hour later, Kevin and I made our way back into the living room. Castiel was sitting on the couch and Dean was no where to be found.
"Dean is in the kitchen." Castiel said before I was able to ask him. Dean was where we were told and he was making grilled three cheese sandwiches with bacon.
"Smells good. So, what's the verdict?" I said motioning towards the living room.
"I don't know yet. Haven't asked. How you holding up, Kevin?" Dean asked.
"Fine, I guess."
I snorted and mumbled that he was crying. Dean must have heard because he laughed a little too.
"I'll bring out the sandwiches, and you go sit with Cas. Okay?" He said.
"Yeah, whatever. Come on Kevin."
When we entered the living room, Cas hadn't moved at all. Except his eyes were closed.
"Castiel? You asleep?" I asked.
"No. I do not sleep." He said back still not moving.
"Well, do you want to tell us what happened?"
"Oh yes. That. Lucifer and I spoke. Where's Dean? Dean needs to hear this."
"Dean, hurry up with the sandwiches!" I yelled.
Dean came in carrying a tray with three sandwiches on it.
"Yeah, I'm here. What's up?"
We all positioned ourselves around Castiel.
"Well, I spoke to Lucifer."
"Yes we know. Get to it already." I grumbled.
"Well, he said he void the contract, on one condition."
"No, whatever it is. No." Dean said hastily. I punched him in the arm.
"What is it Castiel?"
"We just have to go on a hunt. Dean, Sam, and me. We have to go together."
