"Dean, the only way I could help you is if I were an Angel." When I said it Dean let out a long sigh. I could tell he was disappointed.
"I might be able to get my Grace back." I said weakly. I didn't want to. I really didn't want to, but there was something about Dean. Something that made me want to remember. I didn't know what to remember. That was the problem.
"You'd really do this for me?" He asked. "For Sammy?" He corrected.
"Yeah. I'd be busy at first probably. I was offered my Grace back by one of my brothers. They said I wouldn't have it for long, they just need my help for a little bit. I'd have to help you... Sam, really fast. I don't know if I could help for long but I could try."
"You sure Cas?" He asked sounding worried. "I know this is a touchy subject for you."
"It's fine."
"Why are doing this Cas?"
"I have to remember."
"Remember what?"
"I don't know."

I was back in my motel room and Dean was in the parking lot in his vehicle. I sat on my bed not sure what to say.
"Uh I guess, Gabriel?" I'm ready to help."
"I knew you'd come around." He said standing in front of me, smirking.
"Why the sudden change?" He asked.
"Because I can't ditch my brothers." I lied. With that a blinding light swept through the room. If I were not an Angel, my eyes would have melted. I looked up once the light was gone. I stood feeling the power surge through me. It was magnificent, amazing, refreshing, beautiful.
Thunder struck. My wings were back. Large, black as a shadow. Spanning the length of the room and then some more.
I was back. I was Castiel. Angel of the Lord.
"Welcome back, Castiel." Gabriel said.
