I lay in bed thinking over and over again about what I had just told Sam. He was only 17, but at least he wasn't 13 like I was. I didn't know how I could help his friend. I really didn't. I would have to call Dad in the morning.

My alarm went off at 7 the next morning. It had felt like I had received no sleep last night. I showered and drank a couple cups of coffee. I still didn't have to leave for another thirty minutes so I called one of Dad's many cellphones. After two rings, he answered.
"Hey Dean." He said happily.
"Hey Dad."
"What's up?"
"Sammy knows. He knows what you do. I told him everything." I blurted out.
"Okay, well... Why?"
"His friend got into some trouble. He made a deal with a Cross Roads Demon. He's got a few more years than the usual. 15. Sam wants us to fix it."
"I don't think you should Dean. Cross Roads Demons don't hold the deal. The devil does."
"I know. I talked to it last night. I was just wondering if you could do some research for me while I'm at work."
"Alright. I will. I have to go. I'll talk to you later." With that he hung up.

I came home at 5:30 to quite a surprise. Sam wasn't out with Jess. He was at the dining room table reading a book.
"Hey Sammy." I said tossing my keys on the counter and kicking off my shoes.
"Hey Dean. Dad called. Said he had some news for you. Is it about the thing?"
"Yeah it is. I called him this morning and asked him to do some research."
I pulled out my phone and called Dad again.
"Hey Dean." He said answering immediately.
"Any news?"
"None. It's impossible. Only one person has ever done it but he didn't know how. He woke up one morning and the deal was off. However, he hadn't been seen for a full week prior to waking up with his soul."
"Well... What now?"
"I have no clue. Why does Sammy care about this so much?"
"I don't know." I said sighing and looking at Sam.
"Well I'll research some more and call you later."
"Bye Dad."
I knew what to do now. I went into my room and called the still nameless number on my phone.
"Hello?" I heard.
"Hey, it's Dean."
"Yes, hello Dean."
"Hey Cassie."
"Why do you call me that?"
"Um, I don't know. I guess I can stop if you want..."
"No it's fine. Why did you call?"
I heard noise in the background so he must have been at Harvelle's.
"I need your help. Can I pick you up?"
"Yeah, sure. I'm at Harvelle's Roadhouse."
I arrived and went inside. I found Castiel sitting in the corner booth. I went over to him and called to Ellen for a couple beers.
"Hey Cas."
"Hello Dean. What is it you need help with?"
"It's Sammy. Well, not exactly Sammy. It's one of his friends. He made a deal with a Cross Roads Demon."
I drank some beer while Castiel thought it over.
