Sam came home Sunday night looking kind of freaked out.
"Sammy, what's wrong?" I asked stopping him.
"You-you wouldn't believe me. Dean. Just, it's impossible to believe."
"Try me."
"Kevin made a deal for his soul with a Cross Roads demon! Please believe me! Please?" He said almost shouting.
I thought it over for a second. Sam looked helpless. I couldn't believe it. Not one bit. Sam had gotten himself into the one thing I didn't want him in.
"Fuck. Sam how did you possible get yourself into this shit?" I yelled.
"You believe me?" He whispered.
"Yes. Sadly I know what you're talking about. Ugh. I can't believe this. Sam sit down. There's no hiding it now."
We sat down at the dining table.
"Sam, Dad and I didn't want to tell you about this for years. Just know that we were going to tell you. There's things in our world. There's crazy, scary shit. They're um, monsters. Werewolves, vampires, demons, ghosts. Lots of em. Then there is hunters. These hunters, ugh you know, hunt them. Believe this or not. Dad is a hunter. He pushes me to become one like him. To hunt. I have gone with him before, but I'd rather take care of you Sammy. I don't want either of us to become hunters. Especially you. You have so much potential."
He sat there with a blank look on his face. All the color had drained.
"Can you help Kevin?" He finally asked.
"I don't know Sammy. I would have to talk to the demon. Where did you do the thing?"
Sam took me to the cross road. We got there and I buried the container I brought, digging up the one that Sam's friend left. I stood back and waited. Soon after, a chick appeared. I looked back at Sam, who nodded his approval. This was the demon.
"Twice in two hours? Boy, am I popular. What now boys?"
"You made a deal with a teenage boy earlier. You are going to stop it right now. You will give him back his soul. His life."
"Or what?"
"I'll excorsize you."
"Oh, so scared." She mocked. "I can't do it."
"Why not. This is your deal. You can cancel it."
"No. I made the deal, but I am not the deal holder. Guess who that is? Yep. The one and only. Lucifer." She smirked.
I turned and walked towards Sammy.
"Let's go." I said and grabbed him.
I was about to get into the Impala when I heard the demon scream. I couldn't help but smile. Sam looked back at the demon who hadn't moved.
"Get me out of here!" She screamed again.
"Devils trap." I smirked and started the car.
