"Sungchan, tell your mother I said thank you for everything," Donghyuck said those words sadly.
They arrived at the mall just a few seconds ago, and the first thing that he had thought of was the way Sungchan's mom treated him and compared it to how his mom treats him.
The thought itself wasn't lovely but saying thank you was a way to cheer him up because he knows those two words could make anyone happy.
"That was sudden," Sungchan laughs it off. The younger male intertwined their hands together, Donghyuck holding his hand firmly. The sizes of their hand fits each other perfectly.
"Kind off but I just wanted to let your mom know that I really appreciate her," the older male smiles weakly. Both of them went quiet when they had nothing left to say to each other.
Sungchan never thought that they got over the awkward stage , but on the other hand, Donghyuck thinks the other way. Its just that there would be times where things would get awkward because they have nothing to say. Nevertheless, Donghyuck finds the silence comforting.
When it was just him and Mark, Donghyuck had to keep the conversation going so that Mark won't feel bored. It was pressuring him and sometimes what he said never make sense. It was a little weird for him to not say anything when he's with Sungchan but he got over it because the younger reassures him from time to time which made him calm.
"So, why this place?" Sungchan looks around the mall. It was currently weekend, the mall was filled with people here and there. Some were with families, and some were either with friends, their partner or alone. His tummy was grumbling ever since they stepped foot in the mall and looking at people eating did not help it from going away.
"We should feed the monster first," Donghyuck says cheekily. He pulls Sungchan to one of his favourite restaurants, in which he thinks cook the best pork belly in korea.
Though it may be the weekends, the store was partly empty. They sat at a vacant table farthest away from the entrance to avoid people coming in and bumping on their chair.
"You still haven't answered me though," Sungchan said in a monotone voice. Donghyuck replays the sentence in his head once again to remember what he had said before. "Oh," his face didn't light up with joy, just like what Sungchan thought it would be.
"Its really nothing. They opened up an art store and I wanted to try it out. Its an interactive store! We can make clay rings or clay trays, decorate wallets for each other, its fun," he smiles weakly, staring at the menu below him blankly.
Sungchan finds it weird that Donghyuck has not been acting like himself today. He seems preoccupied by a lot of things which Sungchan knows that it isn't something that Donghyuck would do. The older is free-spirited and he dislikes when things get to cramped up in his thought.
"So clay trays, what are you planning on doing?" Sungchan ask. He wanted Donghyuck to calm down but didn't want to do it straightforwardly. Its a baby step he likes to take when it comes to comforting people. It could be that Donghyuck is having a bad day but still, he still wanted to end this day with a smile on the older's face, even if it tires him to the core.
"Two frogs sitting under a huge mushroom, a little house between them, a straw hat one one the frogs and a black sling bag on the other," he laughs slowly at the thought. He smiles, which made Sungchan relieved.
The feeling he felt was equivalent to the song he wants to live in and experience the immaculate vibe coming from it. That is how he feels when he's around Donghyuck. He wants to live in his mind and experience all the rough days he goes through. He wants to know his problems, his dreams, his likings, overall just him.
"Thats very creative of you," a waiter came to their table and took their order. She placed a cup of warm water on the round table before walking away.
They stayed there for an hour and continued their day with arts and crafts. Its undeniably fun for both of them. Just like what Donghyuck wanted to do, he made a clay tray for himself and Sungchan
Meanwhile, Sungchan made a necklace out of a black nylon string for Donghyuck and himself. The charms on it is what differentiate the necklaces. When both of the charms are placed near each other, they will attract each other to form a yin and yang symbol.
"This is so cool!" Donghyuck wiggles in his seat. "I hope this would last forever," he whispers underneath his breath. "Why do you say so?" Sungchan asked out of the blue. Donghyuck jumped from his seat, thinking that it wasn't loud enough for Sungchan to hear.
"Oh its just that the necklaces I own tend to break off easily because of my clumsiness but I'll take care of this one," he holds them in his palm delicately. "Even if it did, I'll break mine and we can make a new one," Sungchan mutters.

"Thank you Sungchan for making the past few months one of the memories I couldn't forget,"
Those words filled up his empty mind. Sungchan slumps himself on the king-sized bed, crawling into the comfort of his dark blue blanket and sniffing his pillow.
Those were the few words Donghyuck had said to him before saying goodbye. Today was basically a compilation of Donghyuck saying 'thank you' or 'things-i-want-to-say-before-leaving'.
The boy was casually checking his phone when the bright lights from outside of his house caught his attention. He moved the curtains away and the first thing he saw was a cop standing right in front of Donghyuck's porch.
Since curiosity got the best of him, he stayed a bit longer to see what happens next. To think that there might be a robbery in his neighbourhood, they could've stopped by his house first before going to theirs.
the swat team finally came into view and they all rushed to get into position around his house. At this point, Sungchan couldn't think of anything else. The whole house was dark, including Donghyuck's bedroom. Sungchan wanted to ask Donghyuck what was going on but by the looks of it, he didn't think it was a good time.
They broke into the house and everything became chaotic. His neighbours got out of their houses despite the time being late at night, some were recording the situation from afar and news reporter started coming as well.
Sungchan suddenly couldn't comprehend with what was happening especially since he was alone in the house. He walked away from the window and went back to bed. His mind wouldn't stop creating scenarios about Donghyuck.
Was Donghyuck hiding something from him? Did Donghyuck commit a bad thing to the point where the swat team had to come to their house? But it didn't make sense to him since they had fun just a few hours ago.
