They went back to school after skipping a few days and everything went by as per usual. Coming to school brought back memories to Sungchan, when he first walked into the hellish building, the first person he saw was Donghyuck.

And suddenly the hellish school turned white, shining like the heavens.

When the school held a talent show, he sat in the back row, listening to the beautiful voice of the singing boy on stage. He wore black shorts, showing off his honey tan skin. Along with it was a white shirt and black bomber jacket. Donghyuck was singing with Renjun and both of their voices could end the world.

An amazing duo.

He fell for it. His voice, looks, personality, everything. It never crossed his mind that he would talk to the one and only Donghyuck. And now he's here, standing next to the boy like a doll. Though it still amazes him how time flew by in a split second.

He remembered yesterday being the day when his knees didn't work properly because the older asked him for his number and tiptoed just to pat his head.

"Donghyuck! Where did you go?" Jaemin held his shoulders, slightly digging his nails into his skin. He spins Donghyuck around, checking if there were wounds anywhere on his body. "What is this?" Chenle held his hand, pointing at the huge scar on his palm.

Though Sungchan was with him the past few days, he completely forgot about the scar Mark gave him. "A mistake," Donghyuck rolled his eyes and pulled his arm away.

"Real question though, are you fine? You were gone for a whole week," Renjun asked from between Jaemin and Chenle. "I am thanks to Sungchan," all of his friends turned their gaze towards Sungchan. Jisung glared at him from head to toe, still not trusting the guy.

"He helped me go through a rough week, you guys don't need to worry," Donghyuck reassured all of them but his eyes were on Jisung. He gave Jisung a soft smile and pat his head, making the boy puff his cheeks.

"Well well, aren't you guys excited that graduation is just around the corner!" Jeno ran from the entrance, attacking Jaemin and Renjun with a hug from behind. "Okay tough boy, calm your arms down," Renjun glared at him, pushing his arms off.

When the word graduation became a topic for the group, Sungchan felt his heart crying. He remembered asking Donghyuck whether he'll remember him or not once he gets out of school. Though he did reassure Sungchan thousands of times, the taller male can't help but think otherwise.

"How many times have I told you, I will never forget you Sungchan. You exist in my heart, you live in it, you own it. Stop thinking that I'll forget you just like that cause let me tell you something, I won't. Ever,"

Those words that Donghyuck told him a few days ago came into his head when he had his eyes stuck to the locker behind Chenle. Donghyuck noticed how he was suddenly kicked out of the world. "Hello? Earth to Sungchan," he waved his hands in front of Sungchan. Everyone laughed which made him blush.

"Ahhh what a cutie," Donghyuck engulfed him in a hug, rocking him from side to side. "Are you guys a thing now?" Chenle crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at them.

"And what if we did?" Donghyuck turned his head at them, furrowing his brows. "I hope you're not cause I would want him," Jaemin blurts out, receiving two hits from two different people, Jeno and Renjun.

"I'm gatekeeping this boy, no one can touch him," Donghyuck said, suddenly being protective of the boy which made him giggle. "Yeah tell that to yourself shorty," Sungchan smirked, messing up his hair. "Rude,"

"Hey, can I go to my house for a second?"

Sungchan was walking in front of Donghyuck. He was minding his own business when he felt a tug on his uniform. He turned around to see the older looking everywhere but his eyes. They were wondering as if he did something wrong.

"Sure, I'll wait here," he sat down on the stairs but he felt another tug when he was about to do so. "C-can you follow me?" Donghyuck was practically whispering, but it was loud enough for Sungchan to hear. "Yeah, of course," he sang.

Donghyuck walked in front of him, taking small steps. His legs were shaking, afraid to go there back due to things that had happened. The house haunted him. He received permanent scars and traumas, and he hated every single thing about the house.

"Hey, we can go another time if you don't want to," Donghyuck flinched when Sungchan's cold hand came in contact with his tan skin. "Sorry," he pulled his hands away.

"I just wanted to take something before they take everything away, it won't be long," he smiled faintly, holding on to Sungchan's hand.

The moment Sungchan got in, the whole house was dark the only source of light coming from between the curtains. It was a mess, the living room, the kitchen, and even the bathroom. Papers were scattered everywhere on the floor with broken pieces of glass. It reeked of alcohol mixed with the odd smell of cat piss.

The ceiling was leaking, and the couches were all ripped apart. Bottles of coke and alcohol were on the coffee table in front of the tv, some were even on the floor.

It didn't come to him that Donghyuck had been living in this house since forever. He turned his gaze towards Donghyuck and the older boy was already climbing up the stairs as if he's used to it.

Sungchan avoided the shattered pieces of glass on the floor and followed Donghyuck from behind, running up the stairs to catch up with his pace.

Donghyuck turned to his left into a room and Sungchan did as well. The room was as big as his room but it looked like there was more space here compared to his room because of how little furniture there was in here. A closet, an old wooden table, and a single bed with light blue covers. No decorations or even a small carpet.

"Now you know how my house looks like," he giggled at the boy and proceeded to open the closet. All the clothing in the wardrobe came out without any notice. "Woops, looks like I forgot to fold my clothes before running away," he mumbled to himself sarcastically.

The bed creaks when Sungchan sat on it, making him gasp. "I'm sorry you have to come here," Donghyuck said, his voice echoed throughout the room.

"It's fine, I don't mind though," Sungchan replied, looking at Donghyuck from behind. The older boy was sitting on the floor, rummaging through the pile of clothing.

"What are you looking for?" Sungchan asked, admiring the wooden floor and white wall. He noticed how the painting was slowly coming off, producing white ashes on the floor.

"This!" He said happily, showing the item proudly.

It was the necklace Sungchan made for him and the tray he made for himself. Sungchan grins, loving how Donghyuck still cared to keep them. "Shall we go now,"

"Yes! I'm never coming back," he stood up and left his clothing alone. "Aren't you gonna take a few clothes before leaving?"

"Nah, yours are comfier,"

"Sure,"
