CHAPTER 9

457 Million CE
Astisha's POV

“Why don't we try to talk to Dad? Maybe he'll listen,” I suggested pero umiling lang silang dalawa.

“As if he'll listen,” Astral replied with his rolling eyes. She's right. Dad never listened to us. When he seeks for opinions, he never hear our side.

It's hard to be part of the Luminous Family. Napakaraming bawal, bawal kaming makisali sa usapang superiors. Bawal kaming magsaliksik ng katotohanan tungkol sa mundo. And whenever the superiors allow us to discover new things, we must know our limitations.

“Triplets! Go back to the hall!” Our Dad's voice thundered as he walks towards us. He's about ten meters to the stairs where we stand so while he's still far, we ran hurriedly downstairs.

It is about three rounds of running in a spiral staircase until we reached the ground floor of the modern mansion of Luminous'. Our maids look troubled when they saw us catching of breath with difficulty.

“Madams, bakit nandito na po kayo? Tapos na po ba ang salu-salo?” The household majordomo asked as we reached the floor.

“Hin—” I was about to respond when our Dad's voice echoed from the second floor. We're bewildered for his raging voice.

“Triplets! Come back!” He furiously yelled but we continued to escape out of the mansion. We left the maids puzzled as we ran throughout the house.

We passed the hallway containing three living areas and two dining areas until we reached the front door of the mansion. Maids and cooks were mixed up for our behavior.

“Since we're caught, tumakas na lang tayo. Total ngayon lang ulit tayo makakalabas,” Ashtar said humorously. Sumangayon naman kami ni Astral.

Ashtar was about to open the main door when it opened itself. Napaatras kaming tatlo nang tuluyan itong bumukas at iniluwa nito ang tatlong personal guards ni Daddy.

Perhaps, Dad called them via landline to look after us. Pero dahil desperada kaming makalabas ng mansion ay hindi kami nagpatalo sa kanila.

When they start to hold our arms tight, I gave my sisters the sign to retaliate. As the guard of mine tightened his holds, I gave him a front snap kick my foot swinging out in front of me like I'm snapping a towel.

In natural stance, Astral draw up her back foot, bend at the knee, and snap the guy her leg out in front of her and draw it immediately back to where the guard was.

Ashtar gave his guard a side snap kick same a only the front snap kick to the side dahilan para mapabagsak siya at mabitawan si Ashtar

Hindi pa ako nagpaawat at binigyan ko pa ang guardia ko ng side trust kick and he gave up his hold on my arms.

Astral lift her foot to her opposite knee, kick, and roll her hip forward. In her snap kicks, her torso stays upright. In trust kicks, her torso falls more in line with her kicking leg, coming down to power her kicking leg upward.

At bugbog sarado ang mga gago.

Mabilis kaming nakalabas ng mansion dahil wala ang mga guards na nakabantay sa gate. We quickly hid ourselves in the crowd where people gathered watching something on the middle of the way.
