Astisha's POV

Umagang-umaga pa lang ay may naririnig na akong boses ng mga nagaaway. Mahimbing ang tulog ni Astral kaya hindi ko na muna siya ginising. I decided to get up from bed and see what is happening downstairs.

“You two are impostors! Traitors! What happened to your promises?” A man’s voice linger around the house as I walk down on stairs.

When I reached the ground floor of the mansion, bumungad sa ‘kin ang lahat ng mga superiors sa buong mundo. Mr. Maverick of Europe, Mr. Walley of Australia, Mr. Shudnazo of Africa and including Mr. Scott of the Americas.

“We tried but we can’t,” Garalgal na sabi ni Dad kay Mr. Maverick.

“I don’t care with your f*cking reasons , Zach. It’s enough for us to call the both of you impostors!” sigaw ni Mr. Maverick kina Dad at Mr. Scott. Sa totoo lang ay naguguluhan ako sa mga sinasabi nila. How could they say that Dad and Mr. Scott are impostors and traitors.

“We had a deal but you disobeyed us!” Mr. Walley voiced out furiously.

I don’t really get them.

“We sincerely apologize, masters.” Lumuhod sina Dad at Mr. Scott sa harapan ng tatlo pang superiors. Ngunit hindi ko napaghandaan ang mga sumunod na nangyari.

Mr. Maverick kicked Dad on his face dahilan para tuluyang matumba sa Dad sa sahig. Nagtamo siya ng kaunting galos sa pisngi. Hindi ako nakapagpigil kaya nilapitan ko sila. I am bad daughter to him pero hindi ko kayang may umaapi sa kaniya. He’s still my Dad or maybe not the real dad pero inaaruga niya kami. I won’t let someone hurt him physically.

“With all due respect, sir, but what is happening here?” pormal kong tanong kina Mr. Maverick. Gulat na gulat naman ang tatlong superiors nang makita nila ako na papalapit sa kanila.

“You heard everything, didn’t you?” kabadong tanong ni Mr. Maverick.

“I did,” Tipid kong sagot na mas lalo nilang ikinabahala. “Can you tell me what’s going on here? Where did you get the guts to kick my Dad’s face?” kalmado kong tanong kahit sa loob ko ay may kaunting galit akong nararamdaman.

“Astisha, go back to your room please,” Awat sa ‘kin ni Dad pero nagmatigas ako at hindi ako umalis sa living area.

“Seems your daughter isn’t well-disciplined, Zach,” Sagot ni Mr. Shudnazo.

“I am asking respectfully what is happening here. What’s with the impostors? The deals?” napalunok si Mr. Maverick kunwari’y hindi siya kinakabahan sa mga sasabihin niya. I know what’s behind their auras.

“You should go back to your room. It isn’t you business,” Mr. Walley mouthed but I didn’t left. I want answers.

“Go back to your room, young lady!” nagulantang ako sa lakas ng sigaw sa ‘kin ni Mr. Maverick. His eyes are fuming like a mad tiger attempting to kill me. But I remained to be brave in front of them.

“Astisha? Ano’ng nangyayari dito?” boses ni Derick ang narinig ko mula sa hagdan. Napalingon ako sa dakong iyon at naroon sina Astral, Ashtar, Dam, Sam at Derick na gulat na gulat. Lumapit sila sa amin na mas lalo namang ikina galit ng tatlong superiors.
