Astral's POV
It was still early in the morning when Astisha woke me up. My eyes snap open as I stretched by body to the fullest extent. I still feel my soul sleepless but I can’t refuse to her will. She continued to baffle me with her voice until I decided to get up from bed. Now that I feel oblivion on what’s happening around me, I think I can consider myself a somnambulist.
“Lolo is calling for an urgent assembly for Team Atrium. May mahalaga raw tayong pag-uusapan,” She whispered. Sobrang antok na antok pa ako sa mga oras na ‘to pero wala akong nagawa kundi tuluyang bumangon.
“At this time? Hindi ba pwedeng mamayang may araw na?” Kamot-ulo kong tanong.
“Hindi siya magpapatawag ng ganito kaaga kung hindi importante. C’mon let’s go to the secret lab. Pinauna ko na roon sina Ashtar, Dam, Sam and Derick including Amy,” She sounded. Inayos ko ang sarili ko at lumabas kami ng kwarto.
“Why Amy’s included to the meeting?” I asked.
“It’s Lolo’s command,” She answered.
Nagtungo kami sa secret laboratory ni Lolo Orion sa basement. Kahit madilim ang lugar ay lakas loob kaming nagpatuloy sa paglalakad hanggang sa marating namin ang pintuan ng secret lab. Nasa labas pa lang kami ay rinig ko na ang mga tinig nila sa loob.
I opened the door and it made a sonorous sound that made them turn their gaze on us. Dam, Derick and Sam were seated on the couch whereas Amy is sitting on the single chair on the opposite side. Lolo Orion is standing front of them and suddenly told us to enter in.
“Hindi ko na patatagalin pa,” he uttered. He looks worried based on his eyes. Perhaps, it will be a bad news.
“I checked the invimogram last night. Knowing that the invimogram can collect data through voice recording, I sent it to the suicide forest these past few days and I got information about the Dark Vag'bos,” He explained. Kaya pala ilang araw ng wala ang invimogram dahil nangangalap ito ng impormasyon sa mga Dark Vag'bos.
“They are planning to attack us including the people. Maghihiganti sila sa pagpatay n’yo kay Wolferous. Alam kong uunahin nila kayong patumbahin bago ang mga tao dahil alam nilang mas mahina ang mga tao kaysa sa inyong mga sugo.”
“Sugo?” Sam asked for clarification.
“Wala. I mean, heroines of this generation. They know about your powers dahil ganun din sa amin ni Georgina noon. Bilang mga isinugo sa panahong ito para iligtas ang mundo, kailangang magtaglay ng kapangyarihan at siguradong pinaghahandaan na nila ang pagkitil sa mga buhay n’yo dahil ayaw nilang may hahadlang sa kanila sa pagpatay sa mga tao. They want to dominate their tribe that’s why they want to conquer the world.”
After how many weeks staying in this place, I can now clearly understand why they are doing all the evilness. Gusto pala nilang mapadami ang mga lahi nila kaya inuubos nila ang mga tao upang gawing kagaya nila ang mga labi ng mapapatay nila. They will turn the dead humans into somebody like them.
“You need to take actions now. Hindi natin alam kung kalian sila lulusob. Para siguradong hindi sila magtatagumpay, kayo na mismo ang lulusob sa suicide forest upang ubusin ang lahi nila. Umatras kayo noon sa paglusob sa kanila. And now it’s time. Please, champion all the people and the world.”
“We don’t have enough weapon, how could we fight massive population of Dark Vag’bos? They have bakunawas to fly with samantalang kami walang kalaban-laban,” Ashtar mouthed.
