The shower woke me up and cleared my head but I kept thinking about what happened last night with the ground moving. That was intense and a little terrifying.

Then hearing the voices in my head like we were communicating to each other just frightens me. Although Marq sends a calming vibe out to me Dash is more authoritative and in control.

The difference between the two is polar opposites. Which I guess balances them. I feel such a strong connection to the twins it's a little scary. We have never met but the connection is slowly growing.

"Your dad said they will be home this evening. They felt like something was wrong and started back last night." Kalen informed me.

"Great I ruined another getaway for them." I mumbled to myself.

"You didn't ruin anything. Things are just hectic right now and they both said they felt bad for leaving in the first place regardless of your insistence." he continued.

"They deserve a break from all the worries and responsibilities of the pack. That's my job now and I'm not doing very well at it." I feel like I have let my father down immensely lately.

"Maybe I should hand the title back to my dad until Gavin can take over." Kalen nearly fell on his face as he tripped on the leg of the bed trying to reach me.

"Lyda Plyze, you are a great alpha. You are considerate, forgiving, trustworthy and protective of the whole pack. You never back down from a fight and you have the respect of not only our pack but all the surrounding packs in our area. So stop downing yourself, get dressed for training and kick some
as$." Kalen pushed me toward the bathroom to change but I grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug.

"That's why your my beta." I released him and went to change.

Kalen

I can't believe Lyda thinks so little of herself. She is doing great considering the circumstances. I think some reinforcements are needed.

"Huntington pack beta Calum." I heard over the phone.

"Hi Calum, this is Kalen can I speak to the Luna please." I politely asked.

"The alpha and Luna are out but I will give her the message to call as soon as they return." Calum told me.

"That's ok I will just call back. I need to talk to her about Lyda without Lyda knowing." I quickly responded.

"Okay. I will tell her you called. They should return this evening." I thanked calum and hung up.

Lyda came running down the stairs ready to train. "Lets go beta Kalen. We have some training to do." and out the door she went.
