"So? How's the trip?" Luna's bubbly voice filled the room as I gazed at her pixelated face on the screen of my phone.

"I've been here for one night nothing too excitings happened." I giggled as I stood up from my dressing table stool and slipped my sliders on which the hotel had provided.

"You popping out today?" Luna asked me.

"Yeah, I'm gonna head into the town and just have a little roam about, maybe bring you back a present if you're nice." I teased and watched her scrunch her face up at me through the phone.

"Right then, I'll love ya and leave ya, text me tonight bout how you're getting on okay girl?" Luna called and I nodded at her. Waving one last time at eachother before she ended the call.

Grabbing my handbag and phone I headed out the door and swiftly made my way to the elevator.

LA was absolutely gorgeous, where I was staying was honestly like something out of a movie, every building was bright coloured and tall, it reminded me of a more holiday-type version of New York.

It was about 6:34pm by the time I had arrived back to the hotel, grabbing takeaway food from the restaurant on my way back as I wasn't in the mood to socialise much anymore today.

"Hi, do the pools have a certain time closing or are they open all night?" I asked as I held the phone between my left shoulder and left ear, breaking off a bit of the baguette I was eating.

"No they are open 24 hours." The mans muffled voice came in through the landline.

"Okay, Thank you so much." I said politely before pulling the phone from my ear and gently placing it back into the holder.

Once I'd finished up with my dinner I grabbed my bikini and threw it on, placing one of the hotel robes over my body I slid on my white sliders and pinned my hair up into a messy bun, grabbing myself two towels and my phone before heading out the door.

I seemed to notice that I never really saw anyone hanging about in the hotel corridors and I rarely saw people in the elevators, I didn't mind it though as I wasn't particularly a people person.

The rooftop was honestly something out of a dream, the air was still warm and the sky was a deep sea blue colour, aligned with belly button piercings sprinkled above.

I sat down on a small white sun bed right by the pool, slipping my sliders off and gently peeling off my dressing gown, No one was up here so I was quite content with the outcome of being on my own.

The water was warm as I stepped down the first step into the pool, my right hand gripping onto the metal railing for dear life as I let the water slowly run up my body the deeper I got.

Pressing my back up against the side of the pool I sighed in relief and let my eyes flutter shut, the water rippled against my chest, moving up and down slightly at the depth and movement of my breaths.

My eyes shot open to the sound of the back door opening and closing, I craned my head over my shoulder to see a figure heading towards the other side of the pool, a towel thrown over their shoulder, short navy blue swimming trunks on and a pair of the hotels provided sliders.

I watched them throw their towel and shoes onto a chair nearby them and then turn and crouch down, gripping onto the sides of the pool before they slivered into the water and dove their head straight under. I watched the person curiously as they bobbed back up and slicked their hair back with both hands, now noticing it was a man I was a little nervous but I carried on keeping myself to my own devices.
