"You're an idiot" I giggled as Alex tried to place the cap back onto its rack in the shop, members of the public around us stared and whispered about our stupidity as they might call it but what Al and I called fun.

"Shit it won't go on El." Alex panicked as the hanger suddenly snapped and his face was absolutely priceless. "Nope we've gotta go." He mumbled and placed it on top of the rack, grabbing my hand and swivelling me round before tugging me out of the shop as my loud laughter echoed behind us.

Weaving in and out of people walking past us, sending us dirty looks and cussing at us in French only caused us to laugh even louder as we threw back apologies towards the people scowling at the two of us. "Some people need to get up on the right side of the bed Eh?" Alex mumbled into my ear as we slowed our jogs to a stop, my hand coming up to cover my mouth as another giggle slipped out the back of my throat.

It had been three days since the trials, a heavy weight that was once on my chest had been lifted and I'd started to feel more relaxed and refreshed ever since Blake was thrown in jail. I felt as if I could finally let my family rest at peace now.

We had been around the town centre all morning as Alex wanted to buy some swim trunks before we headed down to one of the ports just to go check out some of the boats because we wanted to do one of those boat tours; The heat today was a little overwhelming for the two of us so we'd decided that being out on the ocean would be perfect.

"That one looks pretty good." Alex pointed toward a boat with two decks, a small tanned guy with black slicked back hair and a goatee stood by the deck, a big board sat in front of him advertising how he was doing a 4hour boat tour for €50 per person, lunch included and three pit stops so people could get out and swim.

"Yeah come on let's go." I grinned and slipped my palm into Alex's free hand, and skipped along ahead of him, a few families and couples soon joined the line Alex and I created as we paid to get onto the boat and stepped up onto the deck. "Let's get a seat up on the top deck, you go and get the bags down and I'll go put my trunks on." Alex called, grabbing his black trunks out the bag before handing me the bag with our towels in.

As I set our bags down onto the hardwood top deck I had a look around, multiple sun beds were scattered around which I sat down on and slipped my sandals off, pulling off my summer dress to reveal my neck-tied yellow bikini that showed off my faint tan I'd gained throughout the sudden heatwave we'd been experiencing.

My eyes scanned the port around us, the boat sat on the entree of the ocean, the palpitating pulse of the waves were steady and peaceful, the azure colour of them was hypnotising; just as I begun to enter a daze Alex sat down beside me, pulling his t-shirt off to reveal his tanned toned chest.

"You better be coming in the sea on the first stop." He said as he handed me a bottle of beer he'd got from the little bar downstairs in the cabin of the boat. "Obviously." I grinned over at him and brought the chilled rim of the bottle to my lips.

Only two families of four people came and sat up on the top deck with us, the rest of the people were sat under the canopy on the bottom deck as the sun was seemingly too much for them.

Pulling myself back up to reach the surface of the water, squeezing my eyes shut before widening them as I slicked my now-drenched hair back out of my face. My eyes flicking up to meet Alex preparing to dive off the boat, he checked to see if I was watching him before leaping off the edge and..bellyflopping.
