"So they're all at the studio right now?" Wayne asked with a mouthful of cereal, I moved around my island counter and flicked the kettle on.

"Yeah, I think I'm gonna head out later and meet up with the girls, because Bre and I need some serious catching up, and I need to get to know Kelly and Katie." I shrugged, pressing the small of my back up against the counter behind me as I watched Wayne wipe milk dribbling from his chin.

"Do you have to come to mine for breakfast? Why don't you go to Luna's?" I asked with a light laugh, not that it bothered me having him round, it's the fact he'd come here and raid my half-empty cupboards.

"Luna's probably in bed with a bloke, no thanks." Wayne muffled through his mouthful once again, "She cut ties with Jules?" He asked me, furrowing his brows and smoothening his ruffled hair down.

"Yeah, I'm glad she did he was always bad news, I paid for my last package a few weeks back then that was it." I mumbled shamefully, I hated how involved I was with him and all his drug packages.

"Well I'm just happy you're finally slowing down on the drug usage, when was the last time you used?" He asked me, I glanced up to the ceiling and thought about when I last had a re-lapse.

"I wanna say a little longer than a week ago? Maybe like ten days or something?" I muttered quietly, the click of the kettle finishing its boil drawing my attention away from Wayne.

"You're not gonna throw a spoon at my head if I ask why, are you?" Wayne asked warily, I craned my head over my shoulder as I poured water into the mug, "No I won't." Rolling my eyes playfully I placed the kettle back down and turned round to face him once again.

"Social media, and the whole murder mystery taking place." I shrugged slowly, "You deserve an award for woman of the year." Wayne covered his mouth with the back of his hand as he spoke, his mouthfuls seeming to be getting bigger and bigger each time.

"'Woman whose cried the most' award?" I joked, Wayne scowled at me and flung a Cheerio in my direction to which I quickly swatted it away with a loud laugh bubbling up from the back of my throat.

"Serious talk now Miss D'Aboville." Wayne lifted his no index finger to point at me as he swirled it around slowly, "You and Mr Turner." His eyes thinned as he put on a voice which we liked to call the 'straight guy voice' as he sounded straight when he put it on.

"What about us?" I asked dumbfounded, the warm ceramic of my mug scolding my lips as I sipped carefully, "Any recent kisses?" Wayne pushed, I placed my drink down onto the island and tilted my head as I raised one eyebrow up as a 'what do you think?'

"Sorry I can't facial-read? Yay or nay?" Wayne asked frantically, "Nay." I said quickly, earning a groan of defeat from Wayne. Him and Luna had begun betting on who'd make the move first, Luna's money was on Alex and Wayne's money was on me.

"Can you just snog him please for me!" Wayne pleaded, "No Wayne." I shook my head, "I can't lose fifty euros El!" Wayne winged, "Wayne you're not going to lose or gain any money, because we're not going to kiss, Alex doesn't look at me like that and I know he looks at me as just a friend." My hands waved about as I spoke, something I tended to do whenever I was stressing.

"What about when you danced together at that pub? You said it yourself there was something there!" Wayne leaned forward, eager for me to tell him the truth, "We have chemistry Wayne! It's normal! Friggin' you and Luna have chemistry...And you're gay!" I exclaimed.

"El just admit it, you're hopelessly in love with him, you keep lying to yourself and others and it's not going to do you any good." Wayne urged, my eyes must've rolled to the back of my head the amount of times this man made me roll them.
