And her eyes were all red

3 Nights Left...

ALEX'S POV:

"The Full English please." I spoke as the waiter took my order and turned to Thalia in front of me.

"Bacon and Egg muffin with a hash brown, thank you." She smiled softly up at him as he took both our menus and headed off down the restaurant.

We'd woken up earlier than the others and decided a little brekkie date sounded nice for just the two of us. My thumb gently rubbing over Thalia's knuckles as our hands rested intertwined on the table, small conversations thrown about here and there but mostly just enjoying the muffled sound of our breakfast being made in the distance and enjoying eachothers presence.

"I'm excited for London." My eyes glanced up and met Thalia's, I always admired her appearance as she spoke, she was a very tanned girl, striking blonde hair that fell neatly into beach waves; her eyes a lime green round the rims and melted into a Caribbean-sea blue. I always noticed how once she'd been in the sun a few freckles sprinkled over her nose and cheeks, she was beautiful, truly.

"As am I, but that also means we're going to be cracking down into work, I mean im buzzin' to get working on the album but I still get anxious, you know me." Thalia rolled her eyes playfully as I spoke, she knew that I'd always overthink that no one was going to like the bands new upcoming albums.

"I've listened to one song and I already know the whole things going to be absolutely amazing baby, don't stress okay?" Thalia soothed as she gently squeezed my hand in reassurance.

I smiled appreciatively over at her before flickering my eyes over across the other side of the restaurant, no one else was in here apart from us, it was peaceful, but then sometimes I liked having people around as when I was with Thalia it still felt like it was just us two in the room and no one else.

My eyes soon magnetised to a figure that sauntered into the restaurant, Nike black sport-shorts on with a their hood up and a baggy-black hoodie on, big sunglasses covered their eyes and the hotels provided sunglasses on their feet.

"Is that Eleanor?" I asked quietly, nodding toward the figure as they took a seat over the other side of the restaurant.

Thalia's head snapped over her shoulder, her hand leaving my own to tuck some hair behind her ear as we both stared at this mysterious yet vaguely familiar figure.

"Go check." Thalia pushed as she glanced back over to me, I mumbled some incoherent agreements as I stumbled out from my seat, smoothening down my shirt with my hands as I strolled over to the person.

Their head was lying down on the table, and as soon as I was within one meter distance there was one thing I could smell. Alcohol.

Yeah we'd been drinking last night but she only got tipsy? None of us would've had hangovers today as we all handle our hangovers like pros.

"Eleanor?" I asked quietly as I neared the (possibly sleeping) person, my fingertips quickly tapping their shoulder a few times.

A short grumble was received from them as they stirred in their position and finally dragged themselves upright. I watched them intensely as their sunglasses-covered eyes met my own.

"El?" I said again, tilting my head forward slightly.

Their mouth parted a little before they very fucking slowly lifted their left hand to their face and pulled the sunglasses down off their eyes. Their right hand flicked down their hood releasing their caramel brown locks.

My heart faltered slightly, Eleanor's eyes were almost lifeless, bloodshot and dark all underneath, the bottom-lids of her eyes puffy as if she'd been crying for days.
