Alex POV:
My heals clacked along the hallway floor of the police station, my opened-leather jacket swayed by my sides in each stride I took, I needed to find the detectives immediately.
"Hello?" My voice echoed as I pressed my palms up on the side of the reception desk, seeing as no one was around I just swiftly made my way down the corridor towards the Detective's offices.
"Ah! You were the man accompanying Eleanor weren't you?" A voice chirped up from behind me, I swivelled round and was met with Detective Wright stood in an opened door-frame staring at me.
"Yes yes that's me, now I'm here to tell you that I know who murdered the D'Aboville family." I huffed out of breathe, probably shouldn't smoke so much..
"Do tell." Wright crossed his arms, an officer came into view by his side.
"It's that Blake Meyer, her supposed Father, it's him. He confessed to Eleanor." I was well-wide-eyed now, I felt as if I'd ran a marathon and taken a dip into some murder mystery show on the way.
"Get him called in..." Wright mumbled to the officer whom nodded and disappeared out of sight.
"Now..." Wright spoke prolonging his word as he tilted his head forward slightly and squinted his eyes at me.
"Alex." I finished off for him, knowing full well he'd forgotten my name.
"..Alex, if you'd follow me I'm going to need to question you whilst I send officers out to Bring in Meyer." Wright held his arm out toward another office opposite the one he was in, I stepped inside and slowly sat down, my leg bouncing in anticipation as I feared for the life of Eleanor right now. I fucking left her alone with him how stupid could I have been?
The questions went on for what felt like hours, my head ached from all the information I had stored, Wright seem slightly convinced but not fully, I felt as if the Detectives had a vague feeling that Blake was an odd bloke.
The front entrance doors to the station were suddenly burst open and my head shot round to the Offices door, Scrambling from my seat as followed by The detective I swiftly made my way round the corner of the hallway.
"Eleanor!" I shouted, she was hunched over, hands pressed onto her knees and her chest and back heaving up and down with her breaths. I watched as she spat blood out onto floor, before slowly looking up at me; my feet moved before my mind could think and I'd bolted straight over to her and pulled her into my arms.
"What happened?" I breathed out as I pulled back from her, tucking her thick locks behind her ears as she slowly pushed her tongue against her chin, showing me her busted lip. My chest ached at the sight of her being hurt.
"He just pushed me and I hit my face on the doorframe.." She spoke breathlessly, my fingers fisted into a load of her hair, wide eyes running over her face, every freckle and her smooth tan glowing under the fluorescent light above.
"Come on.." I removed my hands from her hair and ran them down her arms till they met her palms and magnetised them together, tugging her along behind me as I led her toward the Detectives Office where'd I'd seen a first Aid kit.

"Where is he now?" I asked her as I dipped a cotton pad into some disinfectant before bringing it up to Eleanor's lip, she hissed in pain but soon sucked it up and got used to the stinging feeling.
"I'm pretty sure he stayed nearby the flats, I hope they got him by now..." Her mumbles slowly turned into a tired whisper, we hadn't had a proper nights sleep in a few days and just by looking deep into both of our eyes you could clearly see that.
