"And this Watcher's Council...is it easy to infiltrate?"
"They won't suspect a thing, they're too focused on what I'm going to do next, they won't see you coming."
"And who wouldn't be enamoured by your presence? It's so heavenly, it's almost like our dear Lord himself."

Episode VI: Team Powers That Be
Istanbul, 2002
James pounded down the street, he must have just lost them. He had been here for days trying to get in contact with the Potential, it would be an incredible loss if she died beforehand. He was determined to find her after spotting a few lurking Bringers suspiciously following a girl.
Hitting a crossroads, he looked down every way to find the Bringers, spotting a small movement in the darkness. He burst into a full sprint instantly, reaching the location only to find a black cat. "Stupid superstitious animal, this better be one of the countries you mean good luck." he muttered, darting his eyes everywhere.
He began jogging his way back to the crossroads, and as he did so, a Bringer poked his head out, seemingly keeping watch, although that may seem hard considering he's blind. James broke into a run, and rounded the corner, being clotheslined by the Bringer, hitting the ground hard.
James kicked his legs up, colliding them with the Bringer, and flipped back onto his feet as he did so. The Potential was held down, and one of the two Bringers pulled out a dagger, raising it. James started for the Bringer, but as he dove into him, the Bringer brought his dagger down into the girl's heart forcefully, causing her to audibly gasp in shock.
James dealt with the Bringers quickly, shooting a bullet into each's head. He ran to the side of the Potential Slayer, but he could tell she was already dead. James closed the girl's eyes and stood up, taking a breather. He then reeled back and kicked a nearby trash can as hard as he could out of rage.

"I managed to recover the two Potentials we located here in London, Molly and Annabelle, they're currently getting acquainted with the quarters as we speak." Giles announced, leaning against the table in the boardroom. James had flown back to London, meeting with the rest of the team. They were back at the Watcher's Council Headquarters, updating each other.
"I managed to bring back Nora, she was almost killed by the Bringers. Had I been any later, we would have lost her." Robson informed them, an old friend of Giles', who had only recently joined their efforts.
"Well done, Robson. Julie?" Giles asked.
"I picked Kennedy up at the airport, no problem." Julie replied, crossing her arms and turning to James. "James, are you alright?"
Giles and Robson turned their heads to James too. James looked back, his eyebrows furrowed. "I lost her. The report was sketchy, I know, but I should have found her sooner." James explained, looking down at the floor.
"It's alright, James. It was a lot to ask of you." Giles told him, although James didn't believe that Giles was completely fine with the outcome.
"I'd say four out of five isn't bad, it could have been a lot worse." Robson said, in an attempt to make the atmosphere more comfortable.
"Listen, it's late," Giles started, "I think we should all just retire for the night. But the Bringers could stage their attack on the Council at any moment. They've yet to be sighted in London, but they'll be here eventually, don't let your guard down."
