"It's almost time, is the boy ready?"
"Hey, look I'm trying here, so just trust me! Everything is going according to plan, don't you worry."
"Good to hear, we need the Male Slayer to stop the evil when the time is needed."
"And he will!"

Episode III: Slave to the Master
London; Summer of 2000
"The level of immaturity and naivety that you have shown to us is absolutely ridiculous. You should be ashamed of yourself, boy." an angry Quentin Travers hissed at James.
James was currently standing before the council, although he didn't know any of their names, he did know Quentin Travers all too well from notoriety alone. The board room he was standing in had a large table in the centre. James was stood in front of the table, where the council members all sat.
"If I may, sir?" James asked. Travers nodded and allowed James to speak. "I don't think the ideal punishment of a mentally ill girl is to lock her away for the rest of her life, against her will, and expect her to just get over it."
Travers stared James down, never blinking once, "As much as you would like us to agree with you, we see all cold-blooded killers as menaces, mentally ill or not."
James glanced beside him to Julie, who was watching from the door of the board room with a worried expression on her face. "Can you just tell me my punishment and I can get out of here and do it already?"
"Well, that's the thing," Travers started. James turned to look at him questioningly. "A recent critical situation has occurred in the Netherlands and unfortunately, there is no time for such punishment."
"And what might that be?" James asked, now interested.
"A group of demon monks have taken over a monastery about fifty miles northeast of Amsterdam. They have supposedly figured out a way to resurrect the Master, who was a vicious vampire who tormented the world for centuries. One of the other slayers, Buffy, managed to put a stop to him and even destroyed his bones. But these monks are apparently strong enough to combat the Powers That Be." Travers explained.
"The Powers That Be?" inquired James, unsure as to what he meant exactly.
"That's irrelevant to the task at hand. We sent a crack team of operatives in a week ago and we haven't heard from them since they landed, we fear the worst." said Travers, standing up and moving around the table to be opposite James.
"And you think sending me in on my own is better than, what, five or six trained operatives?" asked James, folding his arms.
"No, that's why we've recruited three other rogue demon hunters, or so-called freedom fighters, for you to work with, they will be flown in alongside you. These demons are powerful, in fact the only one who could possibly control them is the Master, who would swiftly put an end to the world if risen, so we need all the help we can get." Travis said, his face becoming more and more worried as he spoke of the Master.
"So this Master guy, he's just a vampire?" James said, confused why everyone was so scared of him.
"One of the most powerful out there. He tends to dabble in magics and conjuring things. Don't be so naïve again boy, you need to stop the Master from rising by killing the monks. If you succeed in this operation, we will forgive you for your betrayal in Los Angeles." Travis finished, turning away from James and sitting back down at the table.
James walked out of the room, towards Julie. She couldn't help but smile after James had gotten off extremely well for his actions. "Now, let's head to Amsterdam." she said, patting James on the back.
