"He's headed to LA, now. Things will be in line soon for you to reveal yourself."

"And what do I say exactly?"

"Hello might be a good start?"

"We need him in on this, the First isn't exactly going to go easy on us."

Episode V: Firearms & A Former Watcher

Northern Ireland, 2002

James smashed through the third-story glass window of the mansion, beginning his rapid descent to the ground. James found the experience of falling almost free and quite blissful. It gave him a chance to take a break from fighting Kungai demons that just won't die no matter how many times you stab them.

"I wish I could just fall forever." James thought to himself, briefly. It was soon halted by his sudden impact into the dirt. "You come to Northern Ireland for the first time, and this is how you're welcomed." he tutted to himself.

Two women came running out of the mansion, screaming for help. They were closely followed by the Kungai demon, eager to get back into battle with James. "Save us!" one of the girls shouted at James, almost collapsing into his arms.

"Up you get, and over there! Quickly!" James replied, helping the girl stand up and move out of the way of the oncoming charge that the Kungai was preparing. James spun around, desperate to find his sword, which he had dropped during his fall. He spotted a sword-like imprint on top of a thorny bush, revealing it's location. "You must be joking."

The Kungai demon took advantage of James being distracted and attacked him, pushing him to the ground. James kicked the demon off of him and sprinted for the bush, leaping inside to feel the stinging impact of the thorns. He grabbed his sword and swung it around as he was lying in the bush. The Kungai demon charged for James as he did this and it ran straight into his sword, impaling it.

James watched the demon fall to the ground, the sword having pierced it straight through the heart. He pulled out his cell phone and pressed a few buttons on it before putting it up to his ear. "Julie, I'm done here; the Kungai is dealt with. I'll report back in an hour."

The two women approached James again as he was on the phone. "Sir, you saved our lives. You're so brave!"

"Is there any way we can repay you?" the other asked, slowly undoing her top.

James raised his eyebrows, "Julie, make that two hours."

Travers took out the teabag that was in his mug, ready to drink it. He spun around to face James and Julie, who were stood before him and the rest of the Council.

"James, some great work has been done by you over the past month. I think I speak for the rest of the Council when I say that your work has been unparalleled in the history of the Watcher's Council." Travers said, taking his seat at the boardroom table.

"Thank you, Sir." James responded, smiling warmly.

"We're eager to get you back out into the field again with a new mission, however before we do..." Travers paused as he took a sip of his tea, "...how are you, James?"

"Me?" James asked, confused.

"Are you doing well?" Travers continued.

"Um, fine...thanks for asking." James replied, looking suspiciously at the other Council members.

"Have you had any more visits from...Doyle?" Travers asked, avoiding eye contact with James.

"Oh, that's what this is about." James said, rolling his eyes.
