"It didn't work!" James yelled in confusion as the chameleon blinked through the pain of the piercing flamed arrow.

"What do you mean it didn't work?!" Robson shouted down, poking his head out of the tunnel above James.

"I can't believe this! Robson, catch!" James said suddenly, tossing the crossbow up to Robson, who reached out for it, careening out of the tunnel, where he fell in a swan dive manoeuvre, landing next to James.

"Bloody hell, I'm feeling that tomorrow." he moaned.

"We have to move." James said, rolling his eyes. He looked around carefully and found another tunnel on their level where they could escape through. "Robson, over there!"

Robson picked himself up and limped quickly after James, who had already shot off. "Actually, I'm feeling it just as much right now." Robson said, remarking about his pain.

The two fled up the tunnel as quickly as they could, coming across Doyle, who was still laid out in the small cove. "Doyle!" James exclaimed, causing Doyle to sit up suddenly.

"You two, get in here and shut up." he whispered quickly, and James and Robson complied. "This thing, it... it isn't from around here."

"You can say that again." James replied, his mind elsewhere as he kept an eye out for any sign of the chameleon.

"No, I mean from this universe." Doyle clarified. James spun his head around to look at Doyle with confusion.

"I'm sorry?" Robson asked.

"When I died and ascended to a higher plain, the Powers allowed me to look at not just our dimension, but others." Doyle began, with the other two hanging on his every word, "I was fascinated and I tried to observe and learn all I could about every dimension or universe I possibly could."

"And this thing's from another dimension, hence the different colour and how comfortable it seems to be around fire." James said, filling in the blanks.

"Exactly! I knew I recognised the bastard from somewhere, and it's from a hell dimension called Quor'toth." Doyle continued.

"Do you know how to ice it?" James inquired, peeking his head out from behind some rocks to keep watch again.

"No." Doyle answered, looking down in shame.

"Okay, let's get Oz out of there and leave, we'll have to cause some sort of cave in to stop this thing from ever escaping. Did you find the brother?" James asked.

"The bloody things had him for breakfast." Doyle replied, shaking his head. "Where's Marcie?"

"I'll tell you later. Alright, let's go." James told them, and they began to creep along the tunnel back towards the main cave.

Oz was ripping up chameleons left and right, covering himself in the sticky blue blood that exploded from them when he took a bite. James, Doyle and Robson had just reached the end of the tunnel and spotted Oz. "Do we get him to do it?" Robson asked.

"As good as a chance as any." James responded, "Oz!" Oz's head instantly turned to face James from across the cave. "The tail! Go for the tail!"

Oz stared at James for a few seconds, and slowly turned to face the large chameleon still stuck to the wall. It's huge eye was staring right at him, and Oz felt intimidated. He turned back to look at James again briefly, and James pointed in the direction of the long tail, spread along the side of the cave wall. Oz leapt at the tail instantly, and the large chameleon screamed as Oz took a bite.

"Is that going to work?" Robson asked Doyle.

"Unless that tail comes off completely, that chameleon is gonna get the last laugh." Doyle replied, staring anxiously at Oz.
