RIGEL PULLED HIS WAND OUT, POINTING IT AT THE CABINET. He had been called by Dumbledore to go somewhere, a cave or something, but he refused, wanting to stay and help his cousin finish the cabinet since it was the day of the deadline.

"Harmonia Nectere Passus." Rigel murmured, lifting his head up when the cabinet clicked.

Draco's eyes widened with hope as it slowly started to open, both of them backing away from it.

Bellatrix Lestrange, Rodolphus Lestrange, Rabastan Lestrange, and Fenrir Greyback walked out of the cabinet.

The two cousins made eye contact, then both led the death eaters out of the room of requirement in silence.

Chaos immediately erupted in the school, all of the students rushing to safety.

••

They made their way to the top of the Astronomy Tower where Dumbledore was standing at.

Rigel shielded his cousin, who was looking extremely nervous. "I'll do it."

"Rigel, I have to—"

"No. He promised me that you didn't have to do it." said Rigel, stepping nearest to Dumbledore, while the other death eaters stayed behind.

He pointed his wand at the man, who was looking at him in pity.

"Harry, years ago, I knew a boy who made all the wrong choices." said Dumbledore, looking at Rigel in pity. "Please let me help you."

"I don't need your help!" exclaimed Rigel immediately.

Dumbledore pulled out his wand, which Rigel noticed and said, "Expelliarmus!"

Catching the Elder Wand, the Black heir looked at the headmaster one last time, a smirk slowly forming on his face. "I've chosen my side, Dumbledore. Avada Kedavra."

As soon as the spell hit Dumbledore, he fell off the tower, much to Rigel's amusement.

Rigel didn't have much time to look amused as Snape walked in, while Bellatrix was cackling loudly and the dark mark was now in the sky.

Snape made eye-contact with Rigel. "I was going to do that."

Rigel scoffed. "I've been wanting to do that for years, Snape. I'd tell you to get in line, but there's no line anymore."

"Let's go, Ri." muttered Draco, making his cousin look at him and nod.

••

"It wasn't supposed to be you, it was supposed to be Snape!" said Tom, who was pacing by the fireplace.

It was now a few hours later and Rigel was apparated out of the school by Snape, who had also ran away for now.

The students now all knew that Rigel had killed the headmaster, but that was a problem for another time.

"Tom, there's absolutely no difference—"

"Yes, there is, Rigel." Tom said with a calmer voice, his eyes softening as he made eye contact with a frowning Rigel. "Now that everyone knows you killed Dumbledore, the whole Order and almost every student will be after you, Ri. I don't think you can even go to school for your seventh year until the Order's finished."

Rigel stayed quiet.

Tom stopped pacing and frowned, realizing something. "You didn't even want to go back for your seventh year, did you?" He asked knowingly.

Rigel was still quiet, avoiding his eyes.

Tom hesitantly sat down next to him. "It's getting bad again, isn't it?"

The younger boy tried swallowing the lump in his throat and nodded. "Yes." He quietly said, his voice cracking.

"Maybe you should start therapy, Ri." said Tom after a few minutes of silence.

"I don't want to bother someone else with my problems, especially someone that I do not know."

"Rigel, you do know that that's exactly what therapy is, right?"

Rigel glared at him. "No. No, I do not." He sarcastically said, rolling his eyes.
