Sana and I get our things ready and head down to the restaurant. Vizera is located a few blocks away from the mall, as from what Google told me.

The restaurant was big, with a huge sign on the front reading 'Vizera' in cursive. We enter in and tell the host that we're with someone named 'Demore.' He takes us to the area upstairs and brings us to our table.
Gretchen waves at us with a smile and we sit down. After looking at the menu we order our drinks and later our food.
For beverages, I ordered a virgin Pina Colada, Sana ordered a Shirley Temple, and Gretchen ordered a Dr. Pepper. As for the food, Sana got cheese ravioli, I got ribs with mashed potatoes and spinach, and Gretchen ordered lobster mac and cheese.

"Gretchen," Sana says, taking a bite out of a ravioli. "I remember you telling us something about you not being able to walk. I was going to ask then, but didn't think it was the right time, but if you don't mind, what happened?"
Gretchen leans back in her seat, taking a sip of her soda.
"My parents got into a car crash when I was 11. Long story short, I fractured my spinal cord and was lucky to make it out alive, though my legs stopped working."
"Well since we've seen you jump like ten feet and run really fast, I'm assuming your wish was to be able to walk again?"
She nods, taking a few bites of her lobster mac and cheese.
"That's right."
"Did it happen right away? Or did it take time?" I ask.
"Pretty much right away."

We finished eating then went back to Gretchen's apartment.
Although there were desserts at the restaurant, we thought it would be more fun to make them instead.
"You said we're making pasteis de natas? What are those?" Sana asks.

"It's a type of pastry," Answers Gretchen. "My grandmother used to make them all the time when she was in Portugal. She actually taught me how to make them myself."
"Oh, that's cool," I say. "I guess while you're making the pastries I can make the cookies and Sana can make the cinnamon rolls."

After we finished baking we all grabbed a couple desserts and sat down in Gretchen's living room wearing our pjs.
"How did you grow to be so confident?" I ask. "Or were you always confident?"
"It took a little while for me to get used to fighting," Gretchen replies, chewing a cookie. "But when I did I felt more and more at ease. Sure, I still find tristitias scary, but that doesn't stop me from helping others."
"Speaking of tristitias, where exactly are they from?" Sana asks.
"I'm not sure, perhaps an alternate dimension?"
"Naroi had no idea either," I add. "He also told me my magical potential was off the charts, but, I don't know if I should trust him or not."
"You should," Gretchen states. "Being a magica we can also sense the magical potential of others, and you possess a ton of it."
"That's probably why that freaky chick is always after us," Sana mutters. "She's afraid that Kate will be stronger than her. Huh, knew that freak was jealous."

I place a hand on Sana's shoulder, telling her to relax a bit. "We don't know that," I say. "I mean...even though I, supposedly, have this crazy amount of magic power, that doesn't change the fact that this is a dangerous job."
"You gotta stop being so kind, it's irritating sometimes," Sana grunts.
She leans over to grab a cinnamon roll and to take a sip of her water.
"But," She continues, sighing. "You're right. It's still a dangerous job, but you gotta stop listening to her, she's a stranger! She knows nothin about you!"
I look at the floor and nod my head. "Yeah, I guess you're right. But..."
"But what?" Gretchen asks.
I shake my head. "Nothing, I don't why I said that."

Before all of this magica stuff occurred, I never met Violet in my life, but it's obvious that she knows me, how though?? Am I really that forgetful? Or is she just a creep that stalks me and that's why she knows so much about me?

"Speaking of that," Sana begins, bringing me back into reality. "Gretchen, did you ever have any problems with other magicae?"
Her eyes move around the room for a bit then focuses back on Sana.
"No, not really," She answers, shaking her head. "I mean aside from arguing with them and dealing with annoying magicae, I pretty much don't meet any."
Her eyes suddenly grew wide and she sat up tall as if a thought struck her.
"Oh my, how could I forget?" Her face grew red as she shook her head. "I remember dealing with this one girl who was also a magica, she seemed to be around a year older than me. Anyways, I was in the middle of fighting this creature and she interrupted my progress."
"What did she do?" I ask.
"Pushed me out of the way and finished the monster off herself, she then took the luctus threcius and fled."
"Why didn't you stop her??" Sana asks, surprised.
"I don't like conflict," She shrugs. "Unless it was something absolutely necessary like she was hurting innocent people, but she wasn't."
"What weapon did she use?" I question.
"I forget. It's been a while since that encounter and that latitat we were in was very foggy, but, if I had to guess, I believe it was a spear, or something like that."
"That's crazy," I mutter

Gretchen placed the rest of the pastries onto a plate and placed it into the fridge. We then all brushed our teeth and sat down to watch 'Avengers: Infinity War'. After the movie we decided to chat some more.
"Hey Gretchen, Can I ask you a question?" Sana asks, getting embarrassed. "You don't think my wish is stupid right? The one about me having an amazing singing voice?"
Gretchen shakes her head.
"Of course not. If you truly believe you'll be happier, then go right ahead!"
"Thanks," Sana replies, smiling.
"Why do you want to sing better anyways?"
"I have fragile vocal chords, or something like that," Sana begins. "Anyways, I've always wanted to join this group called 'Ethereal Chanteuses', which is this awesome girl band that's like impossible to get into."
"Oh, I've heard of them," Gretchen says. "They do have angelic voices, but what will you do when you finally join?"
"Become famous and rich," Sana shrugs. "Oh! And if I do we can all do these great things, like live in an awesome house where we can practice fighting or just hang out together."
She pauses for a second.
"How great would that be? Bringing thousands of people joy and living my dream. Not to mention how I'll also be helping them by fighting those monsters."
She looks at Gretchen and gives her a cheery smile.
"I hope I can be just as good as you!"
Gretchen smiles then chuckles embarrassingly.
"Aww, thank you. But I bet you'll become even better than me."
"I doubt it."
"No, I mean it, when I first became a magica, I was never like I am now, you just need to practice. Besides you actually had the chance to learn a few things, I didn't."
"We only learned because we had such a great friend." I say.
"Thank you," She says smiling somberly. "It's nice to have such great friends."
After talking, we took out our sleeping bags and all fell asleep.
