Another Highschool AU

He was tired. So tired. His eyes burnt with fatigue and his muscles ached. He couldn't sleep just yet though, no, he had to finish this homework.

"Sam!" Bucky whines, a frown adorning his features.

"Stop doing work. I'm bored." He complains but Sam blocks it out.

Bucky huffs, his frown turning into a pout.

"Gimieeeeee attention!"

Sam roles his eyes though there's no heat behind it. Bucky knows Sam can't be mad at him. His puppy dog eyes always work.

When Sam doesn't look up though, Bucky rests his head on his friend's shoulder. Sam tried not to let the feeling he has when Bucky's breath tickled his neck get the best of him. Besides, it's almost finished.

"If you don't give me attention, I will pick you up and body slam you onto the bed. I won't hesitate!"

Sam scoffs, "as if you could lift me."

Bucky gasps, "is that a challenge?" Before Sam could protest, he's getting lifted out of his chair and slammed into the fluffy mattress, with Bucky still on top. "Just sleep, seriously, it'll be there in the morning." Bucky says, his greyish blue eyes staring into pools of melted chocolate. "Why do you care so much about my welfare anyways?" He complains, though he doesn't mind his friend being on top.

Wait.

That was worded wrong.

Fuck it, he can't be bothered to explain.

"Because you're my friend." He says simply. "Now, will you go to sleep or will I need to pin you down until you fall asleep?" He murmurs and Sam fights the urge to blush. Doesn't work though and Bucky notices.

"Is this position a little conflicting for you?"

Sam sputters, shoving the boy off on the other side of the bed. "I hate you."

"I hate you too."

"Now sleep."

Rolling his eyes, he flips over and closes his eyes, not complaining about the arms that wrap around him.
