Highschool AU. Fluffy one. 🥰

"Sammmmyyyyy" Bucky whines, huffing like a child. A small pout gracing his lips.

"I wanna goo outtt and play!"

Sam rolls his eyes at his roomate's antics. "Well, if you wanna go play, go play and let me read in peace!"

"But it won't be as fun without you..." Sam tries desperately not to give into temptations but his puppy dog eyes always work, it's not okay. "Sam," He whispers in his ears, startling the boy. How the hell did he creep up without him noticing. Self-consciously, he brings the book over his face, covering the blush that isn't noticeable to others, but Bucky had eyes like a hawk.

Bucky smirks, a playful glimmer in his eyes as he slowly pushes the book down from the Wilson's boy face, met with a extremely adorable expression. It doesn't help with the feelings that's stirring mixed emotions within him.

It also doesn't help the butterflies the flutter about in his stomach as Sam stares into his eyes. It was as if they were locked, and couldn't pull away. It's like with Bucky, even if Sam's in a sea of students, or covered by the tall kid named Thor, Sam's always the first person he sees, their eyes locking on each other as they both smile widely, their hearts doing summersaults, everyone sending knowing glances to them but they don't notice.

Bucky is worried. He is falling harder than he has for anyone.

"Fine."

Bucky smiles in triumph. "Maybe you can talk to your birds." Bucky suggests, teasingly. He knows Sam has a somewhat interest in birds and if he were a superhero he would most definitely have wings.

"I should! Talk shit about you with them. That sounds awesome!" Sam retorts and Bucky exclaims. "Hey! Don't be rude!" He says in a childish voice, but Sam loves it. He likes the way he feels whenever Bucky is around. It makes him feel light.

A few moments later of teasing and joking around, the boys have bought their food and are currently sitting on top of a steep hill, talking shit about everyone they hate.

"Hey, Sam."

Sam looks up, some food sticking out of his mouth and Bucky couldn't help but laugh at the sight. Eyes widening in embarrassment, Sam wipes his face with the sleeve of his shirt, feeling his cheeks heat up. Not because of the embarrassment but because of the way Bucky laughs heartily. The way the corner of his eyes crinkle, the way his eyes seem to light up.

"We should roll down the hill..." Bucky suggests, still laughing, giggling even. "Alright, instead of rolling, we'll run and whoever trips first has to carry the other home AND do everything the person who wins, says. Deal?" He bargains, holding out his hand with a smirk. Bucky holds it and the contact of their hands sends sparks throughout Sam's body. Their hands linger for a moment before they both retract their hands as if they were burnt, one clearing their throat while the other stares at the sky. Though when Sam snorts, Bucky bellows a laugh, bending over and clutching his stomach as if it hurt to laugh.

Sam laughs along, his smile growing and tears welling in his eyes from laughing so hard.

"I can't breathe!" Bucky wheezes, causing Sam to laugh harder. A random noise escapes Bucky and Sam wheezes, kneeling on the ground while trying to breathe.

"Stop fucking laughing!" Sam says between wheezes.

"Stop!" Sam staggers to his feet, tackling Bucky to the ground, gasping when they both start to tumble down the steep hill.

Squeals and giggles escapes the two boys as they wrap their arms around each other, their breath leaving their ribcage when they land with a soft thud, Sam landing on the bottom and Bucky on top. Shit eating grins were on both of their faces as they stare I to each other's eyes, enjoying the feeling they get from the presence of each other.

Both boys seem to relax slightly, though there was breathy giggles still passing through their lips. Bucky's eyes flicker down to Sam's lips before looking at Sam's eyes and biting his lips. Sam gulps, an unknown force pulling them closers, Bucky hesitates though, giving Sam the time to pull away only for his hands to trap his face and pull him down. A surprised him escaping as they kiss.

Both were inexperienced, but they couldn't care less. Sam's the first to pull away, smiling softly.

"Have I told you how much I like you?" Sam shakes his head, his lips slightly swollen from the kiss.

"Well, I like you... For a while now, and I uh, was wondering if you, wanna, uhm, I don't know, get together? Like a couple?"

Before Sam could answer though, an onslaught of denials pass through Bucky's lip and Sam leans up to shut them off.

"Yes. I wouldn't mind. But what if we don't work out?"

"We can go back to being friends?"

Sam smiles, wrapping his arms around Bucky and hugging him.

"Today was fun."

"Yes, it was."
