Naupo si Gabby at hindi makapaniwalang tinitigan ako

"Seriously? You forgave him?"

I nodded

"Bakit? I mean malaki ang kasalanan nya sayo. You hate him so much"

"Is there something wrong about that? Wala naman sigurong masama kung patawarin ni Ate Andy si Kuya Axel" sagot ni Hershey na nakaupo sa may couch sa harap namin

"Anong wala? Gusto nyo iremind ko sa inyo ang mga kagaguhan ng lalakeng yun? Yes he's hot but he's still an asshole!" sigaw ni Gabby

"Ate Gabby hinaan mo ang boses mo baka marinig ka ni Kuya Axel!" pinandilatan ni Hershey si Gabby but the latter just rolled her eyes

"Yeah whatever"

Gabby blew a deep breath

"I know you're doing this for Coreen so yeah, no objection here. Nagulat lang talaga ako kanina"

I saw it in your actions though

"My Dad cheated on my Mom, he broke her heart but still my Mom forgive him and she's happy now. She's now free from that pain. Maybe all I need is to let go of those not so good memories. If I want to continue moving forward, I have to leave the past behind me"

I also did that for Coreen's sake

Yeah, unchain yourself from those things that stopping you from moving forward

Slowly, a smile crept on her lips

"I hope Ate Andy already enlighten you about the positive results of forgiveness. Baka pwede mo nang patawarin si Kuya Wilson" Hershey wiggled her brows

Gabby's brows furrowed

"He never said sorry so why forgive him where in fact he didn't apologize?"

"Do you want to hear him say 'I'm sorry that I took your virginity that night and I forgot everything that happened between us the next day' knowing him, feeling ko hindi impossible na sabihin nya iyon" sagot ni Hershey. That would be embarrassing

Nagsalubong pa lalo ang mga kilay ni Gabby

Mukhang hindi nya nagustuhan ang narinig nya mula kay Hershey

"Handa na ang pagkain, halina kayo sa hapag" nakangiting saad ni Manang Mona

She looks very happy with my decision of forgiving and letting Axel in Coreen's life

"I'm really hungry! Thanks for preparing the dinner Manang Mona!"

Gabby kissed her cheek and went to the dining room

Napailing na lang si Manang Mona. Hershey followed Gabby leaving me with Manang Mona

"Natutuwa ako sa naging desisyon mo hija"

I smiled

"Ginawa ko lang po ang sa tingin kong tama at makakabuti para kay Coreen. Sa totoo lang po ay dapat noon pa ako nakinig sa inyo. Hindi ko dapat ipinagkait kay Coreen ang pagkakaroon ng Ama"

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ngayon ko lang narealized ang lahat ng ito, siguro dahil sarado ang isip ko at puno ang puso ko ng galit dahil sa ginawa ni Axel. But after our short conversation in the shore, I felt the sincerity in his words and I saw his love for Coreen in his eyes. I think those enough reasons to step aside my issues and let him enter Coreen's life
