"What the fuck do you guys want from me?!" Yeri shouted at Sunoo right after he pushed her into his room.

Locking the door behind him, Sunoo threw his gun to the floor before rolling up the sleeves of his sweater. His cold gaze remained fixated on the equally frustrated girl as he took steps closer to her.

"A fucking thank you would suffice princess," Sunoo shot back as he inched closer to Yeri.

"Thank you?! All of you are so fucking pathetic! You don't just kidnap someone for your selfish desires!" Yeri lashed out without a single ounce of sensitivity.

As she pulled her hair in frustration, Sunoo couldn't help but feel enraged at the fact she called them pathetic. Enraged because it was true; 4 boys tormented since young, forced to kill and forced to loathe.

They knew they were pathetic yet, Yang Yeri seemed to rub salt to a wound that never closed.

"This is exactly the reason why I despise royals. None of you know what it's like to survive because everything was served to you in a silver fucking platter!" Sunoo retorted back furiously as he levelled his height with Yeri's.

Grabbing onto the collar of her hoodie, Sunoo pulled the princess close to him as he stared into her brown orbs. Yelping in surprise, Yeri looked at the boy's face which was inches away from hers. In that split second did both teenagers realise that they were the same; both holding anger and hate in different ways.

Two heartless teens, their souls empty though one held more love than the other. Finding himself getting lost in her eyes, Sunoo hardened his gaze once again before he harshly let go of her collar.

"Pull a stunt like that again and I won't hesitate to give you to Papa," Sunoo seethed out before sweeping his hair back.

"Who the fuck is Papa and what does he want from me?!" Yeri persisted despite feeling intimidated by the boy opposite her.

"Are you that dense? He wants you, darling. He fucking wants every part of you if he can't have the throne!" Sunoo snapped, his eyes expressing rage and fury.

With her heart dropping to her stomach, Yeri staggered back as she looked at Sunoo. Nauseated at the fact a complete mad-man wanted to kidnap her to pleasure his own desires. Her beauty was a sight for sore-eyes, yet Yeri thought of it as a curse.

Noticing her state of disbelief, Sunoo heaved out a sharp breath as he clenched his fists tightly. His heart longed to comfort the princess who was so close to going through such trauma. Unfortunately, he couldn't afford to open up his heart to a mere stranger; a princess at that.

"Stay here," Sunoo uttered out after their entire argument, silence now filling the dimly-lit room.

As much as his intuition told him not to leave Yeri alone, Sunoo was more concerned about the person who knocked on their door. Expecting to see Sunghoon upon opening his bedroom door, the blonde-haired boy was instead greeted by another pair of big, cat-like eyes.

Eyes similar to his darling's.

For the first time in 11 years, Sunoo was met with a person from his past; someone who was his comrade and childhood best friend. Right there and then, was Sunoo reminded of who he used to be.

"Sun?" The boy gasped in disbelief as he took a good look at the foxy-eyed boy.

"Hey Wonie,"

"It's a pity we're meeting under such circumstances. Unfortunately, I couldn't care less if we were childhood friends, not after what you did to my sister," Jungwon monotonously replied, his eyes showing hatred towards Sunoo.

Scoffing in response, Sunoo leaned back on his chair with his arms crossed. His eyes narrowed down at Jungwon before glancing at the dazed girl beside him. They didn't look like twins, only having their eyes in common. Sighing in defeat, Sunoo gestured towards the door with a sarcastic smile plastered on his face.

"Be my guest and leave then," Sunoo spoke sweetly as he gestured towards the door.

"You know Sun, you didn't have to abandon the throne like that—because of you, we're left to clean up after your mess," Jungwon spat out upon Sunoo's sarcasm.

"Cry me a river Jungwon. My own cousin left me in the hands of a psychopath, who by the way, wants my darling," Sunoo lazily replied, crumpling Heeseung's to-do list before throwing it at Jungwon's head.

"You're an idiot, you know that? Kim Seokjin and your Guards were found dead several days after you were reported missing! It was clearly all that man's fault," Jungwon scoffed as he eyed the boy across him in annoyance.

Watching her brother and Sunoo argue, Yeri couldn't help but feel shocked at the fact a notorious guy like Kim Sunoo, was royalty. Not just any mere royal, but the First Prince.

He was first in line to be King.

Moreover, Yeri was confused as to why she never saw him before. After all, she had always been separated from Jay and Jungwon when they were younger. Meanwhile, Sunoo couldn't help but be taken aback by the new information told to him—that his cousin was dead and it was all Papa's doing.

As much as he felt Jungwon was right, Sunoo ignored his ex-friend's speech before shaking his head in denial. It hurt hearing his cousin die because of Papa, the only person who saw him as Kim Sunoo.

Sadly, Sunoo had no tears to cry that day knowing he had no right to; for he had become someone who murdered mercilessly.
