"So what are we gonna name the baby?" Soul asked as he watched me trying to get the paint lid off.
"I don't know. I don't even know if it's a boy or girl yet. Come on damn it!" I cursed tugging harder.
"Oh my god give it to me before you hurt you both." He quickly took the paint and popped the lid off.
He looked at me and said "Was that so hard?"
"Oh my death shut up before I snap your neck." I growled softly.
"Wow someone's grumpy today." He commented. "Why are you painting the room yellow if you don't if it's a boy or a girl?"
"Because yellow isn't a boy color nor is it a girl color duh." I said watching him.
He chuckled softly and shook his head. "Okay true."
"You probably shouldn't be painting the room you know that right? The fumes aren't gonna be good for you or the baby." He said as he set the paint down next to him. I nodded and then reached down and grabbed the mask I had bought. It was a simple white mask that covered my nose and mouth.
"Good?" I asked smirking under the mask.
Soul laughed and nodded softly. "Y-yah you look great by the way." He smiled softly and shook his head.
I smiled and stood up and asked him "Will you pour some of the paint into that thing? I'll paint this side and you can paint that side of the room okay?"
He nodded and poured some the paint into the paint holder. I dragged it over to the other side of the room and grabbed my paint brush which was one of those cylinder kind.
Soul grabbed the rest of the paint bucket along with a normal but big paint brush. We both started painting the white walls slowly.
"Hey Soul?" I said softly as I kept painting.
"Yah?" He asked.
"Thanks.."
"For what?"
"For everything. For being there for me and for worrying about me and the baby a lot. You don't have to care for the baby but you do even though you and I aren't together. It's really.. really great since I don't have Kid." I said quietly.
Soul was silent for awhile before I heard him say "Thank for being there for me too. Even though we aren't a couple you worry about me all the time and it's really nice." I could tell he was grinning which made me smile softly.
TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY IT WAS SO SCARY THAT I ALMOST PUKED AND PEED MY PANTS -PAIGE
I sighed softly as I looked all around the room which was perfectly yellow. Hell Soul had even painted the ceiling! I smiled happily though and looked at Soul and hugged him tightly.
He was surprised for a second but smiled and hugged me back gently. "This baby is gonna be okay." Soul whispered to me softly.
And I believed him.
Okay hope you guys enjoyed that chapter and yes I know it was short but I wanted to ask something of you guys. I need a editor. Just for this book though for now.
