I do not own Soul Eater nor do I own any character mentioned in this x reader.

I groaned softly as I was quickly put into a gurney. Nurses and the doctor were quickly pushing me to a labor room. "When is her due date??" The doctor asked Soul who was running and staying by my side.

"Oh u-uhh... She's not due for another two weeks."

The doctor frowned and said "Then the baby is gonna be a premature."

I looked at the doctor and my eyes watered. "W-what.. No!" I yelled as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Taylor gently took my head and said "Shh just because the baby will be a premature doesn't mean it won't survive. Don't worry, remember what I said? Stress hurts the baby. Be happy, smile and laugh. Think positive and for what your gonna name the baby." I looked at her with watery eyes as I smiled then cried out in pain.

"I'm sorry but you two can't go beyond this point." The doctor said and quickly wheeled me past a door. Soon enough Soul and Taylor were out of my vision.

"Think positive!!" I could hear Taylor yelling.

I was pushed into a room and things were hooked up to me, my legs got put up in an uncomfortable position, my pants were taken off me along with my panties. I felt awkward and weird. I gasped and whined in pain.

"Your contractions are getting closer. The baby will be ready soon. Are you ready?" The doctor asked me.

I looked at him and took a shaky breath. I nodded slowly. "Yes."

Souls POV.

I sighed, shaking a bit. It had been eight hours since they took (Your Name) away from us and into some damn room.

"What if the baby isn't healthy?" I asked Taylor.

"Don't think or say things like that. The baby will be fine." She reassured me.

"What if the baby dies, what if-"

"What do you not get when I say think positive dumb ass?" Taylor looked at me annoyed.

"R-right.. Sorry." I ran a hand threw my sweaty wet hair.

She sighed softly and said "Although.. I'm worried too..." She frowned and sniffles.

I looked at her and actually saw tears running down her cheeks. I've never saw her cry. "U-uh..."

I'm not good at comforting!

"S-soul what if she.. What if.." She bursted into tears and cried into her hands.

I hesitantly wrapped my arms around her. "S-shh... It's okay. She'll be fine Taylor." I felt her bury her face into my chest and cried.

I gently stroked her hair and comforted her. "Shh.. Shh I got you.." I whispered.

After awhile Taylor stops crying but I keep stroking her hair gently. She slowly looked up at me with beautiful eyes.

I looked back at her and gently wiped her cheek free of tears. I felt her lean into my touch. Her eyes glanced down at my lips and mine to hers.

I slowly lean in and she slowly leans upwards. Our lips centimeters away from touching each other, just a little more and-

"It's a boy!"
