"Sooooo you and my son had sex?" Lord Death asked as he looked down at my belly.
I blushed deeply and nodded. "Y-yes, it was the night before he left."
"Aaaand you didn't use protection?" He questioned.
"At the time it didn't matter." I mumbled.
"Well it should have mattered." He said as he sighed.
"What? Why?" I asked. It was just like a normal pregnancy, right?
"Well this will be the first time that a shinigami will actually be born. Kid was born from a piece of my soul while... your child is born naturally." He said.
"Will the baby be okay?" I asked worried.
"I'm sure you and the baby will be fine. Now if you were still human that would be a different story." He said clapping his hands together. In a instant Lord Death was down and my shirt was pulled up. One of his big fingers rubbed my flat stomach. "Ooohhhhh I'm gonna be a grandpa!!!"
I quickly pulled my shirt down and stuttered "L-Lord Death!"
"What?! He or she is my grandchild!" He whined as I pulled my shirt down fully.
"So? The baby isn't even that big yet." I sighed softly wishing Kid could be here.
Lord Death seemed to sense my sadness. "He would be happy that you are birthing his child." He patted my shoulder making me smile sadly and nod.
We exchanged our goodbyes and I was about to walk out of the Death Room but Lord Death stopped me and said "Remember if you need anything, then just tell me." I smiled and nodded before walking out of the Death Room.
Paige and Soul were there waiting for me. "So? Was I right?" Paige asked.
I nodded and said "Yah.. I'm preggers."
"How do you feel?" Soul asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
"I don't know... I feel scared mostly. And I know it's gonna hurt like hell." I frowned.
We were all silent for a moment before Paige lightened the mood by saying "Sooooo... you and Kid huh?"
I blushed hard but laughed softly and nodded.
