Chapter Thirteen - Strangled?

I saw a bright light calling my name. I groaned softly and started heading towards that light. It was so bright too, it almost hurt my eyes. 

Finally I opened my eyes and saw Stein in his chair, of course sitting in it the wrong way. Lord Death was there too!

"Hello (Your Name)!" Lord Death said in his cartoonish cheerful voice.

"H..H...iii..." I said, my voice sore.

"You went out for awhile and don't use your voice to much. Seeing how you were strangled." Stein said it so calmly it almost went over my head. 

"W-Hhh aatt??" I croaked out.

"Kid strangled you in the hallway." Stein said once again getting annoyed by me already. 

I looked at him as if he were mentally insane. Well technically... but still. That was just crazy even for him to say.

He looked at me annoyed even more. "Let me put this a way even a simple minded person like yourself will understand. Kid. Strangled. You." 

My eyes widened as I remembered. "W-w-whyy?" 

"Stein why don't you go. I need to talk to (Your Name) alone." He said. Stein nodded but he looked as if he wanted to stay and here. But then he rolled out shutting the door behind him.

"Now..." Lord Death said as he coughed a bit. "Let's get down to business." My eyes widened as his voice was more.. deep and creeky like. It was a bit scary actually.

"My son Kid strangled you which you already understand. Has Kid been any different to you lately?" 

I thought about it and said "Well... he sometimes seems like he's in pain. Once he fell down holding his head tightly."

Lord Death nodded a little. "Mmm..." Was all he said.

"Get some rest (Your Name)... your gonna need it." Then he left.. just like that.

A/N: OK so sorry guys for the short chapter but I wrote this really quickly because Im going to the movies. But next chapter will be a Lord Death chapter which I haven't really done so boom. Also I was wondering if I should make another book. It wouldn't really be anime related but more like a romance, action, super power sort of kind of book, with angels, demons, people with powers. I've been wanting to do it recently but I don't know. Tell me what you think, your guys oppinions really matter to me XD #SOUNDSSOCHEEEEEZZY PEETA OUT.
