Now that Marie had been feeling better and things were starting to get back to normal, she decided that today would be a good day to take the pups to the park. I mean why not? The weather was warm but windy enough to not be overbearing and the pups could use some extra play time and bigger area to run around in. She hoped that with it being a Tuesday and all, that not that many people would be there while they were.
"Alright, where's Mommy's good boys!?!" She called from the front door where she had started putting on her shoes. As soon as she had finished calling them, three pups came rushing up to give her kisses. "Ah! No slobbering! Mommy loves you too boys!" she stated, as she gave them each kisses on their heads and stretches on their sides. "Mommy's putting her shoes on! Is she leaving? Where is she going? Mommy never puts shoes on when we take potty breaks!" Seth panicked as he watched her finish up. "Well whatever she's doing at least this means she feeling better right? Maybe she's going to get more food or something. She drank up all of her stinky drink." Roman replied calmly. Instead of wasting time and energy guessing, Dean decided he'd just wait and see what momma had to say. "Calm down! Calm down boys let mommy talk" Marie stated as she grabbed for each of their leashes and held them up. "Who wants to go to the park!?!" she asked in an excited voice. She watched as all three of her pups perked up at hearing her mention the word park. Park meant going to the big outside and seeing other dogs and people! Seth couldn't wait to go explore and meet other dogs! Roman wouldn't mind the chance to see other dogs and maybe meet a few other humans (though he's learned his momma doesn't seem to like other humans much). Dean on the other hand, couldn't decide if he was happy to get out of the house or irritated at the prospect of having to be around so many others.
Seeing that she caught their attention, Marie quickly attached each of their leashes to them and lead them out the house and to the car. Opening the door to the backseat, she made sure they each made it in and were as comfortable as could be before shutting the door and hoping into the drivers seat. As soon as she started the car, Seth tried to squeeze into the front seat. "No, bad pup! You guys have to stay in the back for safety reasons. Mommy can't be distracted by you while she's driving!" She gently admonished while lightly pushing back into the backseat. Seth gave a small whine but listened to his mommy and returned to his seat. "We'll be there in about 10-15 and then you can be with mommy all you want ok Seth" she stated as they turned out of the neighborhood.
