Seth

The lab-pit mix pup known as Seth sat wagging his tail happily as he tried coxing his owner to play with him. "Stop barking you stupid mutt! I don't know why mom even got you. I told her I didn't want a Stupid dog. I wanted a snake!"  The teenaged boy huffed in annoyance. "Why should I have to look after a dumb dog I never wanted? You're not my problem. Go bother someone else! Better yet get lost!"  The boy yelled while opening the front door, shoving the dog out, before once again closing it. Seth sadly lowered his ears and he slowly dropped his tail. This was the third owner who didn't want him. His first owner was a no-good dog breeder. He sold the pups off to anyone and everyone. Didn't care what conditions the dogs were going to be living in or how they were treated as long as he could make some cash. Seth was sold to a dog training facility for blind patients as a service dog. He was happy to one day be of help and the facility took great care of the pups. The only problem was that Seth had too much energy. He could never sit still for long and got excited too easily. Because of this he flunked out of training and was taken to a no-kill shelter. His most recent owner came in the form of a divorced mother who bought him in hopes of making her teenage son happy with a dog who he could actually play with instead of a snake that would be of no fun and in her mind quite scary and dangerous to keep in the house. The mother had given her son the pup just earlier that morning and already he had thrown Seth away as though he was nothing more than trash. With no hope of returning to an owner who didn't want him, Seth set out to find shelter for the night. He would worry about surviving after he was done mopping and sulking for the night. After all, it is an awful feeling to know one is not wanted or loved by anyone.
