While Marie and Jess were working on filling out paperwork and working out the adoption fees, the three pups were taken to the back of the center to get one last quick look over before being put in individual carry crates. The whole time this was happening Dean was growling and complaining about how obviously this human must be insane for wanting the three of them and therefore was clearly unfit to adopt. "She can't possibly want us...me! Who in their right mind would want me!? I mean look at me. I'm scard all over and I have a bad attitude and I hate playing or- or being cuddled! And I don't share!" Dean kept complaining. He was getting himself so worked up that the staff member who was handling him took as excitement of being adopted finally. "Oh, I'm excited for you to bud! It's about time someone gave adopting you a shot!" Dean could only look at her like she was the dumbest thing on Earth. "Hey, Dean come on. You'll be ok. Besides me and Rome are gonna be there too! Our new human looks like she's pretty cool and I'm sure she wouldn't have adopted us if she didn't really want us." Seth stated all too cheerfully for Dean's liking, while Roman just nodded his head in agreement. "Oh for Bone's sake I'm stuck with idiots!"

Now that all the official stuff was out of the way, two staff members brought out the three dog carry crates and handed them off to Marie and Jess. Marie grabbed ahold of Dean's crate while Jess grabbed Seth and Roman's before they both headed out to the car. "Hey, these are your dogs! How did I end up carrying two of'em?" Jess asked only slightly annoyed. Marie sighed, "Because YOU wanted me to come here. YOU wanted me to get a pet. And YOU just happened to be the one the lady handed both of them over to." "Oh...OK." Was all that Jess could reply as they opened the backseat doors to put the pups in the back. "Don't forget we need to stop by the pet store to get them some supplies!" Jess helpfully reminded them as they began to head out onto the main road. Marie sighed, "Right."
