When they entered the dog room all you could hear was non-stop barking and whining. Marie couldn't help but roll her eyes. She already had enough issues on her own. Imagine getting a dog who wouldn't stop whining or barking. The last thing she would need is a letter of complaint from her neighbors! "And over here we have the doggos! Some are trained and others have yet to be done so but for those that haven't it has been noted on their cages." Heather noted by pointing to one of the cages. "Well, n-" Heather was cut off before she could finish by another staff member who needed help in another room. "Well, I'm afraid I'll need to step out for a minute. Why don't you girls stay here and look around and I'll be right back!" She stated before heading off to go help the other staff member. "Guess I'll look around then," Marie stated with another sigh.
She slowly made her way around the room looking at the different dogs when she came to what looked like a puppy pin. It had about 7 or 8 pups clearly ranging from different ages within it. What really caught her attention was the two pups who were play fighting in the corner. Well it was more like one was play fighting and the other was just sorta swatting at him. Finally interested she slowly made her way over to watch closer. She sat for a few minutes watching before the two pups seemed to get tired. Both pups settled down enough to finally notice she was sitting there watching them. "Look, Roman! It's another human!" Seth yipped excitedly. "Yes, Seth I can see that. She seems to have been watching us for a bit. Maybe she'll adopt one of us." Roman replied. "What if she decides to get both of us! That would be so cool. Then we could play all day every day!" Seth replied jumping up and down now in his excitement. Dean, who was laying in the corner, opened one eye before popping into the conversation. "Doubtful. Most humans only ever get one at a time. Besides even if she did for some reason want two dogs she'll eventually get tired of having you both. You're too high maintenance. You have way too much energy and hate to break it to ya but she doesn't look like the type to want to run around the park with ya." He huffed out before once again closing his eyes. Seth gave a sad whimper before laying back down beside Roman.
While that had been going on Marie had been sitting watching what looked like a full-on conversation between the three pups. Before she could do anything, Jess showed back up with Heather in tow. "Oh, I see you found our puppy playpen! Did you find a little guy or gal you want to take home?" She asked, looking between Marie and the play pin. "Yeah. Yeah, I think I do."
