My Pups Shield Me

Opening the door, Marie didn't even let them take one step in before she started in on Jess. "What did I tell you? Be here one time... You're 20 minutes late!" Finally letting them both in, Marie made her way to the living room where the pups were waiting. "Hey you, don't just leave the door wide open! Shut the door and lock it!" She stated as she turned around about to speak to Jess. She couldn't help but to start keeping a mental brownie points count in her head... He was already in the negative. Idiot. Normally Marie wouldn't be so rude when first meeting someone in person. The problem was that she was rudely awakened, forced to meet her sisters newest boyfriend and apparently to make it worse he seems to have no common sense! Oh AND on top of all that, they showed up late. Which means Jess will want to leave later. Which means Marie will have to put her Lord of the Rings movie marathon with ice cream and the pups on hold.

Marie sighed, "well are you gonna properly introduce us?" She asked as she took a seat on her favorite part of the couch. Jess took a seat at the other end as Seth hopped up in the middle. Roman had already claimed a spot on the floor by Marie's feet. "Well don't just stand there, take a seat." She stated as she realized Jess basically left the still unnamed dude standing there... Awkwardly. Of course this would be when this already had day would get worse. Out of the remaining two chairs he just HAD to pick the one that(by all rights) belongs to Dean. As soon as Marie noticed him heading to Deano's chair, she quickly went to warn him. "No not THAT ch-" Before she could finish the room was filled with a deep growl. Everyone turned to see Dean standing in the doorway leading to the kitchen. Left over water dripping from his jaws.

Marie quickly stood up and got between Dean and the idiot (who had still yet to move). "Woah Deano! Woah boy. It's ok. He didn't know that the chair is for you only." She stated as soothingly as she could. He was still growling but as she slowly made her way closer he stopped showing his teeth. As soon as she was close enough to wrap her arms around him he stopped growling all together. After making sure he was good and calm, Marie turned to address the idiot WHO WAS STILL JUST STANDING THERE. "What are you doing still standing there! Get your ass to the other chair or at least anywhere but there!" She demanded while mentally she was wondering what in the hell her sister saw in him but also assuming it had to be because he was easy on the eyes(because clearly he doesn't have much going on in that head of his). They guy quickly made his way to the other chair before plopping down in it. Seeing the pissed off look on Marie's face, Jess decided now was the time to finally step in. "So this is my boyfriend Declan! We meet at-" And this is where Marie started blocking out everything else Jess proceeded to spew for the next 15-20 minutes as she took the food they brought to the kitchen to be reheated (because by the time they got here it was already getting cold).

While Roman and Seth followed her into the kitchen, Dean hopped onto his chair with his head leaning over the right armrest into order to stare Declan down.
