"Hey! Hey, wake up!" Dean heard as he slowly began to gain consciousness. "Wha-what?" He thought as he slowly opened his eyes. "Come on little buddy, you can do it! Ah. There we are!" The vet said as he watched the pup begin to stir. "We got a nice spot just waiting for you at the shelter. We just got to load you up soon." He said as he finished removing the medical tape and things from the pup's side. Dean began to growl lowly. Not happy at having his skin/fur pulled on and having the human so close to him. "Come on the little guy, settle down. I'm not gonna hurt you any more than I already have in order to remove the tape and get you moved to a crate for transport to the shelter ok?" Dean continued to growl but he was still too weak to do much of anything. And he slowly began to feel what little energy he had faded. He gave one last low growl before passing out.
When he finally woke up again he realized that he was in a cage in a room filled with other dogs. "What the hell have I woken up to?"
