Yeah so remember how I said I was gonna use the time before Everly gets here to clean and organize the guest room? Well... It's the day before they are supposed to get here and I barely have half of the room done. To be fair, I started on the room the day after Everly called... I just got a but sidetracked between then and now. I mean cut me some slack! I kept finding old little knick knacks and stuff that I clearly had forgotten about. And of course with everything cool I found I just had to show the pups! I found pictures from our childhood, old letters and drawings from high school and old notes and classwork from college. Not to mention the shit ton of bags of old clothes (that was supposed to have been donated to Goodwill or His House years ago)! Since they had been stuffed in the closet for so long, I had to empty them out to rewash and dry them before putting them into new bags. Then I had to load them all up into the car before driving all the way to the closest donation drop off zone. Which by the way, was a good 45 minute drive(I Googled it). After I had finally done all that AND cleaned out and gotten rid of everything but the furniture I had to vacuum the room. The only problem was, is that for God awful reason the guest room is the only one in the entire house that has actual carpet! Everything has hardwood flooring with like little area rugs in certain places. That mention I had to fork out money to buy a decent vacuum cleaner. Now don't get me wrong, I have enough money to pay my bills and still live comfortably afterwards each month! I'm just kind of a penny pincher on some things. I mean I hardly have guests over so I never really even use the guest room but as a storage room. Then on top of that, what carpets or area rugs I do have, I just always take them outside to clean them off and air out before bringing them back in. So really if I bought the vacuum cleaner, it'd be like a one time purchase. Who wants to spend almost $50+ on a one time purchase for something that is gonna later be left in a dark closet and practically never see the light of day again!?!

So anyways... I bought the stupid vacuum (really only because there was a old nosy hag in the same aisle who wouldn't stop trying to talk to me about what vacuum works best for what type of carpet and stuff). I ended up grabbing the closest vacuum box and making a subtle run for the register... I ended up paying $150 for a fancy dancy "3 in 1" hot rod red vacuum cleaner.

I hate it.

So does Roman surprisingly.
